Is he playing VFL aswell? Or just local

I’m hearing VFL at Williamstown but haven’t seen that posted officially yet. Maybe he is waiting for after the Rookie Draft tomorrow until it is obvious he hasn’t been given an AFL lifetime

It was more Strathmore this year that benefited rather than Keilor. Not having a go at them... there’s a loophole there and they just used it to field their best side, which any club would do.

Everyone complains about this rule until it’s their club taking advantage of it. If you get rid of it, you’ll probably see a lot of VFL players head elsewhere unless qualification rules are changed across all leagues.

Doesn’t matter really. Enough recruits and points to fit most in. No side will ever have best 22 and players like Goldstein etc won’t be playing weekly.

Points issue is a better problem to have then not enough cattle…

Salary cap almost useless, when I was playing premier they paid me half on the books and half under table did the same when I went to the Eastern FL in “23
