We have positioned ourselves exceptionally well for Cody a Decent free agent or a trade for top end young talent. Very happy how we've managed this.

We have 4 train on players at the moment and 2 spots left. We may still take someone late and take that extra F2 home with us.

There really was no losing in the position we found ourselves in to be honest.

I know getting a new player is always exciting, but I trust the club knows what they're doing, they had all night to sleep on it and this is the conclusion of it all.

Happy with where we're at right now.

Should we keep a spot open for Lij, hes better than anyone we'd take at 28. Spots don't have to be filled at the draft just for the sake of it

We have essentially turned pick 9 and 11 into Dean, Ison and 2 F2 picks.

Considering most had Dean and Ison going in the first round that’s a great outcome.

Yes. If we have a decent season and so does Sydney we’re going to need to turn those second rounders into a first and then package three first into a top 5 pick. You can see this coming from a mile off. And so can Austin and Wright.

Scrap the academy's. Problem solved.

Make them all just AFL academy's that clubs help facilitate. They then just go into the normal draft pool.

Father son is core fabric of the AFL stuff. Leave that alone.
