I see Deer Park are up to their old tricks again - in their pursuit of a half decent ruckman, it looks like they haven’t learnt from their very expensive failed recruiting venture when they recruited [PLAYERCARD]Majak Daw[/PLAYERCARD] - forced to pay a massive transfer fee and then paying a massive sign on and exorbitant match payments that was a disaster.

Now they recruit the contracted Paul Tsapatolis from Point Cook - have had to pay a $5000 transfer fee and then give him a $10K sign on and promise $1500 a game !!!! This is for a bloke who hardly ever trains and has a very questionable footy IQ and won’t add to the 14 players who decided to turn up for their first pre season training run - obviously a lot of effort has gone into boosting their depth for the 2026 season - disgrace of a club

I don’t coach but info is 100% correct - unfortunately Deer Park sychophants (people who excessively and insincerely praise powerful individuals to gain their approval and get an advantage - also called “flatterers” or “suck ups”) like Longblow and BEST OF EDFL live in denial and think Deer Park is such a great club by completely rorting the Salary Cap over the last 10 plus years. They crave respect, relevance and importance but through their continued cheating, they achieve none of them.
How funny is it that Albanvale FC down the road are looking at fielding a third senior side, but Deer Park continue to struggle to get a competitive reserves side - Culture is a wonderful trait to have and money can’t buy culture.

How dare they and have you hunted the group of unfaithful dissenters down and banned them from your prestigious club?

They seem to quietly going about their business building the list. A couple of clubs like Strathmore and Greenvale seem to be losing some players. Pacco also but have done well to recruit more than they lost.

Going to be a very very good premier division next year, other then Hillside who will struggle big time everyone else would be expecting to play finals.

Greenvale have lost Townsend & Trifunovic from their senior side & brought in 7 players.
Pacco have probably lost more than they've gained unless there's a few more announcements up their sleeves.
Strathmore bringing in Jury & O'Brien probably offsets their losses to some degree too.

You would want to hope that bringing in all these players all at the same time, will make a difference… it doesn’t always pan out that way…
