Here's one I can't ever recall seeing. The swooping magpie with white shorts.

Bruh, the most iconic moment in the Swoop had white shorts

Holy shit lol I can't believe I didn't make that connection.

"And it... is... a... Collingwood win!"

TBF Gibbsy, you would've been watching and waiting nervously with intent hoping for a Pies win instead of focusing on the shade of shorts.

Not the only Taz' notable act in 2003.

Running tights, not unusual?

WCE definitely had a red training jumper in that era. It's a big SGIO logo across the chest.
I was more referring to the 40 puma logos on the running tights, just seems very odd design choice

But that training jumper makes sense with SGIO

OG puma running tights/leggings were like that yep - cotton, either black with white or navy with light blue pumas all down legs. I had a pair myself! Hey if they worked for the likes of crawf and linford Christie…

Feel like it was pretty standard for any brand of running tights to be plastered with 50 logos back then.

I'd love to see if there's an archive of photos of the Hawthorn v Brisbane Rd 1 game in 1995. Ross Lyon and [PLAYERCARD]Chris Scott[/PLAYERCARD]'s first and only game as teammates.

Another for crazy good screamers that I happened to stumble upon – Torquay's Steve Baranski in the Bellarine FL grand final(!) of 2005. The Tigers lost the match. No photographer unfortunately, but it was sourced from the Geelong Advertiser.

I found the original 'Specky Magee kid'. This was in an ad for AFL Auskick in the footy record from Rd 3, 2001. Turns out the designers of the book's front cover just warped the colours of an Essendon jumper. I remember always wondering what team that was as a youngster.

Outstanding ripper find Gibbsy.

I thought that it must've been some stock photo.

Also, I like how the bottom left and right pages formed a mini flick book.

Random one. Do clubs still have a white or lighter colour polo used in the preseason. I remember teams like Collingwood (white) Essendon (red) wear these polos before the season started then they would change to a mostly black top. Love to get a brief history if anyone can tell me
