Suns openly shopping pick #1 because ...

Multiple AFLW clubs spoken to by foxfooty.com.au believe eight to 10 Suns-tied players could attract bids at the national draft. Up to five of them are regarded as genuine top-10 prospects.

Carlton looking to land a few targets, but aren't believed to have the picks needed even with future pick trading now available. Maybe Poppy Scholz would like to help them out ;)

ADELAIDE triple premiership midfielder Anne Hatchard is set to be traded to Gold Coast just days after being awarded Life Membership of the Crows.

The Suns will part with picks no.4 and 38 from this year's draft, as well as their 2026 first-round selection in exchange for Hatchard and picks no.14, 21 and 32.

BRISBANE premiership player Ellie Hampson has requested a trade to Port Adelaide.

The mid-forward, who kicked two crucial goals for the Lions in their 2023 AFLW Grand Final win, asked the club to be traded to the Power on Monday morning after spending the last three seasons with the Lions.

Hampson is uncontracted following Brisbane's 2025 campaign, a season where she added nine more appearances to her 54 career AFLW games and featured in the side's Grand Final loss to North Melbourne.

Port Adelaide currently has picks No.10, 28, 46 and 64, plus futures, to use in a trade. – Riley Beveridge

Hopefully only costing that 2nd pick. Appears to be a smaller half forward, we do need that type with Mules nearing the end and Wendland coming back from injury, but definitely not the space you want to burn a 1st rounder. We need mids.

12 games for 5 goals this season and still uncontracted, you wouldn't think the Lions would expect much.

Wasn't expecting Port to do much, sounded like we were trying to get better draft position.

I saw a comment from a Brisbane supporter saying Port don't have enough to get the deal done. So fantasy football has come to the AFLW.

I would like to think Port and Brisbane can work out a suitable trade for both parties and the player.

Would we walk her to the new AFLW pre season draft if Brisbane are being unreasonable? I am not really sure of the rules here.

If only Brisbane had experience of premiership players being walked to the PSD by Adelaide based clubs.

I'm guessing this will include the Ellie Hampson trade (*Nope, guess not)
