Not that I grew up with it but I wasn’t a huge fan of Xmas till maybe last Christmas(tho went off pork for a bit). Craving it already.

Turkey tho can get in the bin. Looks disgusting and is dry af.

Totally agree, don't understand the (U.S) fuss about turkey. A bit like eating cardboard with gravy and cranberry sauce. Nothing beats roast or fried chicken, not even duck.
Ham off the bone is a yes. (esp.sandwiches). Same with roast pork, lamb and beef.
But these days I avoid processed deli meats as much as possible, still occasionally have a salami/ham +cheese sanga.

I got very sick maybe 12 years ago.

Ive taken a holistic approach to recovery and management in keeping it in remission.

Part of that was taking to a nuetrionest. They told me, processed meats, your hams/salami/deli chicken etc are some of the worse foods I could eat, due to there very high inflammatory properties.

As such, I cut those out from my diet pretty much completely.

Except for Chrissy time. I let myself enjoy a good ham and turkey and all the other bits plates and stuffed croissant that come out for Christmas.

Whats your diet like. I’ve been struggling with muscle aches/inflammation for a bit now(has gotten worse since I hit 30). Very meat heavy diet for me so that doesn’t help i guess

But that's the beauty of democracy, every 4 years the public gets to choose between 2 objectively terrible and most likely evil people who will do nothing for anyone except the small handful of people who paid for them to be there and who actively hate us. So yeah, boo to Americans for choosing Trump over Hillary Clinton [an actual demon] and Kamala Harris. And thank god for all those other Americans who bravely chose to give nuclear codes to a dementia patient who literally couldn't string a sentence together and spent most of his presidency in a walking medical coma while unknown handlers administered every aspect of his role without any active participation from the desiccated husk the people thought they were electing. Let's all hate on and blame the opposing sides of the electorate for the state of politics.
