Spot on. The fact that he doctored evidence to avoid getting caught is extremely serious and downright disgusting. The judge should throw the book at him.

So doctoring evidence is worse than rape? That would be the message sent by giving the rape itself less time than altering the evidence.

Of course it's not worse than rape. Just agreeing with the previous poster that doctoring evidence to cover wrong doing in a criminal matter is extremely serious. And that the judge should take this into consideration when deciding sentence.

Agree. I was being somewhat offhanded with the timeframes, but pleading not guilty, doctoring evidence and your legal team and supporters squealing as if the open and shut case is a miscarriage of justice means you're unlikely to be rehabilitated after a 3 year sentence, let alone the 15 months it would be for parole.

I had this chat with my girlfriend, I fail to see how they can believe their son is not guilty with the doctored Uber receipt(s)?

Like, is that not the smoking gun? Not only has he been convicted, but what reason would someone have to doctor Uber receipts if he were innocent?

Why would he doctor it if he didn't think it'd be used as evidence? Receipts are evidence anyway, it's the whole point of them.
