I don't mind them either. As the official podcast they have to cater to the lowest common denominator (ie. me).Love the 50% tog rule. Emgs relevant again and looping everything now a huge risk
Fixing the trade system was a must or they wouldve started losing numbers. Glad to hear
Must be the only one here who actually enjoys The Traders. Reckon they're always a great listen personally
A lot of people pretend not to, but still listen.Must be the only one here who actually enjoys The Traders.
First team I picked is within the salary cap and 10k left over. Not bad hahaAFL Fantasy Team Picker

I'm more worried about defence than mids tbh.I'm curious to see some teams. MID and FWD feel a little tricky early days. Not enough value in top end mids and not enough options in the forwards, even before factoring in byes.
I found defense pretty easy. There's a lot of value in that line.I'm more worried about defence than mids tbh.
I'm concerned of the number of potential burn merchants in that 800-900k range. There will be a winning pick in there I reckon and some train wrecks.I found defense pretty easy. There's a lot of value in that line.
At least everyone will be on the McKercher train togetherI'm concerned of the number of potential burn merchants in that 800-900k range. There will be a winning pick in there I reckon and some train wrecks.
And hopefully the Newman train will reach the station in March. At least everyone will be on the McKercher train together
Yeah I'm a bit skeptical about Rivers. He was a great selection for me last year but took a month to get going. Definitely some burn potential in those other names. I personally won't be going near Fletcher with the early bye.And hopefully the Newman train will reach the station in March.
Rivers, Fletcher, Bergman & McCarthy all look decent options but some will be a disaster I'm sure of it haha
Round 12 is definitely one of the hardest byes especially with north and port being so relevant earlyFirst team looks good on paper ( actually a computer screen) but on closer inspection has upwards of 14 round 12 bye players!
OK. I'll be the first to bite.I'm curious to see some teams. MID and FWD feel a little tricky early days. Not enough value in top end mids and not enough options in the forwards, even before factoring in byes.
15/22 i have onfield from this, 19/30 all upOK. I'll be the first to bite.
Backs:
Whitfield, Rozee, McKercher, Newman, Carmichael, J Lindsay (Farrow, Fincher)
Mids:
Gulden, Butters, Steele, Young, Curtain, Langford, J Smith, Sharp (Grlj, Draper)
Rucks:
Xerri, Draper (Barnett)
Forwards:
Sheezel, Pickett, Flanders, Phillipou, Robertson, Gallop (Davaston, Dattoli)
Leaves $155K in the bank.
All clubs are represented other than Geelong and Collingwood. They can wait until after their early byes.
Newman and Draper are the only premiums missing from round 2. Gulden the only on from round 3. Whitfield, Flanders & Phillipou the only ones from round 4.
If Coleman has a blinder in opening round I may need to find a way to squeeze him in.

#Shaunn had 15 of my starting 22. You have 5.ok...so i created a team. This is what i have come up with so far. this is the first edit of probably a thousand different versions before i settle. The basic structure of my team is there. Just those around the premos hard to gauge i am finding this year.

**Note... havent taken into account the byes and all that rubbish either (i cant get my head around that) so go easy on me.

If it's the same as last year, no extra trades for the early byes but only 18 players scores count those weeks. At least that's how I remember it.Do we get an extra trade for the early byes?
