“It got probably a bit overplayed in the media a little bit but from my point of view it was all sort of just about some struggles and stuff that I had back home with family,” he said.
Yes, we’re all trying to find who was responsible for fuelling the media rumours throughout the entire trade period.

Yeah that doesn't sound great. Picks aren't really much use, the club need to turn whatever we get for Humpa (and we should absolutely fleece whichever team it is) into an A grader.

I mean, we should have an open phone line for any/every Victorian club… and they should all be putting together good offers for him (to him and us).

I can’t imagine a good trade doesn’t get done next year, with ten clubs and a year long best offer type negotiation.

100% that was damage control

If he want to go then so be it but at a kings ransom
Terrible damage control. He should have just lied, I don’t wanna here the I’m just focused on this year mumbo jumbo

Hopefully club is working out a trade deal now.
Assuming he still wants to leave in 10 months from now, what could we realistically be expecting to get in return? I think we're still short of a genuine goal kicking specialist small forward so perhaps that's what we'll target. Humphrey met with the Hawks, Pies and Dees this year so that might be an indication of what's possible. We can probably rule out Kozzy and Bobby Hill straight off the bat. Could we potentially convince The Wizard Nick Watson to move north?

Oh God. I hate the Wizard. But maybe that’s my general dislike of Hawthorn shining through…

We’ll see on Humpa. “Family” type issues can change for the better or worse, depending what it is. A year is a long time as far as big life decisions go.

But we will definitely be wanting forward power next year, either way—but even more so if Bear goes. Humphrey is a real point of difference. Losing Rankine and then Humphrey (after developing both) would really suck.

Christian seems to be really proactively integrating himself and wanting to be a leader.
Interesting that he was calling Humphrey and saying it'll be all good before he'd even arrived.
Wonder what are other feedback to Humphrey was.. maybe not as positive from the vibe in here.

Walter never seems to stop having the time of his life in every single video. Always goofing. Would be sad to see him even consider leaving and I reckon he'll make a bang this year n sign on.

Agreed. Makes sense for him to wait to sign. If he can establish himself in the team it gets him a bit more money.

King on the other hand, his performances this year won't change the money the Suns offer him too much.

The key question is can all stay? King, Walter, Read, JUH. Add Moyle for the fun too. All still mostly potential except King.

In his Christmas message Dimma already mentioned his dilemma about forward line-up.

IMO, likely somebody will leave in 2026 off-season. We can't play them all and all are too talented and ambitious to play in VFL. Some great offers from other clubs coming probably too.

At least, we can enjoy 2026 season with all of them including Humphrey, Rogers.

We will get probably great return on 1-2 of them. Then bring in a maturequality, draft high pick. Part of Suns list management strategy.

I think we need 3 first rounders, 2 of which need to be top 10 picks. This will make the recruiting club squirm and think twice about perusing other Suns players. We then use those picks to go shopping for another A grader
Is he pointing, asking which way to Victoria ( but only to a specific club of course)

His other hand has fingers crossed that he doesn’t get macheted to pieces or heaven forbid misgenders someone down in woketoria
