Never forget.

------

Im a mad Australian fan.

But we are cooked.

Outside of Starc, none of our bowling attacked looked threatening at all. I can't see how we take 20 wickets for a reasonable score to be honest - barring England throwing away their wickets.

If England had batted with a iota of common sense since the Ashes started, they would be short odds to be a few days from going 2-0 up. If Neser and Doggett are our next best bowlers then we are in for some hard times in the years ahead.

I have loaded up on England to win the Ashes @ $3.00 before the series; and again @ $6 after the first test.

I'm very confident on this bet, have pretty much decided what I will do with my winnings.

WeightOfTheWorld is suspended unfortunately

WeightOfTheWorld Bet365 currently have England at $101 for the series win. Probably your last chance to really clean up. Sportsbet only offering 26 bucks. They must know something the rest of us don't, like weight of the world.

There's delusion and then there's Zac Crawley

England have taken 44 wickets in 3 Tests. In order for them to make it 3-2, they have to take 40 in the last 2 Tests - on what I've seen so far, there's more chance of me making love to Jennifer Hawkins.

God it’s a pisser reading the Harry Brook defenders on socials. ‘The reverse shot is a good shot, he just played it to the wrong ball. It gets him runs, so it’s not actually a bad shot’.

Yeah but what if their plans start working as intended all of a sudden?

Boy we'd be in some trouble then!

I, for one, love a sing along. The Barmy Army are great value for the most part. People get so precious.
They can be very creative at times. My favourite remains their effort in Sri Lanka many years ago:

Bowl, bowl, bowl the ball
Gently down the seam
Murali, Murali, Murali, Murali
Chucks it like a dream

Throw, throw, throw the ball
Gently through the air
Murali, Murali, Murali, Murali
Here comes Darryl Hair
NO BALL!!!

Why? What the f is wrong with this clown?

I feel like I remember it happening to Peter Handscomb early in his career over in Bangladesh? Maybe around 2017? Others might remember it too.

England staring down the barrel of 0-18 last 18 tests in Aus
What's the difference between an England Ashes win down under, and the Loch Ness monster? Some people reckon they've seen the Loch Ness monster.

1995, sure, all onboard. 30 years later it's boring, nauseating and plain annoying. Only thing i will say is thank god we mostly smash them out here as otherwise it would be truly insufferable.

Don't mind the army, but I must say, they're slightly overrated. I remember seeing them for the first time, thinking beforehand they'll be singing all day and it will be deafening. Didn't start up until the 3rd session, sang "we are the army" and that was it.

Yeah alright, they get a bit louder when England get on a roll, but no better than Aus supporters in "Bay 13" or "The Hill" at Adelaide oval.

However, they're far from being a Football firm. They do love their cricket and they're just having some fun, but god I wish Fox Cricket in particular would stop fawning over them.
