What are your three NMFC based New Years Resolutions for 2026?

I'll give you mine in no particular ranking order:

1. I will try to remain the same annoying optimistic w***er that I have always been.

2025 was another lean year and for the first time in about 13 years I allowed the "loudest voices " to permeate my soul which directly affected my enjoyment of the game.

2. I will allow myself to believe.

Note to self Being right 5% of the time about something amazing feels far better than being right 95% of the time about something shit.

3. Enjoy the ride.

Many things in life can get you down, football should not be one of them. I can't remember a single game I have ever watched where I have not been able to find something positive.

1. I will still maintain the white line fever of being a north “ Nuffie ( thanks nostra…happy new year to ya)” in here, at games, or online… Thats a hill lm not coming down from. You pick on this club or call our women’s side unfair…I’ll happily return fire. If that means booing hornet in Melbourne, poking the corpse of * and that stupid coach, or laughing at the nonsense of influencers from other teams wishing sanctions on our women’s side …bring it on.

2 Trying to temper my expectations of the men’s side, then get angry, throw the team photo, sulk and forgive them and repeat the process again several times within a game when watching or listening. But seriously lm kinda like pre Christmas mode with the kids we have…this has to be the year they click like the 90s…most of all lm keen to see what wombat does…..and build some patience when demanding more news, clips, insights and news that hasn’t even broken yet from our guru GR. It’s kinda like having caffeine withdrawals at 2am and why can’t the supermarket be open now.

3. Watching our club continuing to be the best darn club that actually cares and connects with its community, making real differences in others lives…not this fake Collingwood photo opps of kids in Dubai It’s what other supporters will never understand about us and their norf jibes just show their ignorance…

But l suppose trying to enjoy the ride of the coming year and being greatfull to have a space to connect with like minded supporters.
