Or compare them to the NFL. Many of the teams will end their season this Sunday and wont require players back until end of May / Early June. Thats almost 20 weeks off.

Each sport is different and has different schedules, but comparing them to regular workers is just plain dumb.

I'm jealous of people that play sports that pay so well that they're set up for life before they even play a game. AFL is a bit of a povo league because it's not an international product.

They are, but finals sides start later after a mandated break.

Everyone has the same break over the holiday period.

So that’s a no, not all clubs have trained as much this preseason.

And to be clear, I’m not criticising the club, it’s the AFL, more so the union that’s set up a system that after 3 weeks training after 3 months off they get another 3 weeks meanwhile other clubs have had more of a preseason.
