Wouldn't be surprised if its all over for Jacobs. Could see the Packers moving on this offseason and signing someone like Kenneth Walker or Breece Hall.

Yeah I don’t know the money and cap situation. Pretty sure it was a 4 year deal from memory. I’m putting it down to his body’s been cooked and never got a chance to get it right I don’t know. Pretty brutal to rid of him after the year he’s battled through, still a TD machine. Would be good to be more explosive at RB though

I think if I remember correctly GB had an easy out after 2 years.

That's an ominous coincidence. I was going to say the 49ers look good for a SB berth given the SB is at Levi Stadium, and if they get the #1 seed, a major advantage for them.

Stafford for me. Has the better stats with a harder schedule. Was very good in foour games v 49ers and Seattle. Maye's performances against Pats toughest opponent Bills not so great. Experience has the edge but that's not denigrating Maye's performance..been outstanding

So if the Seahawks and Rams win the 9ers will finish 3rd in the West.

In previous cases on NFL players charged with some form of assault, fair few of the accuser's had evidence of physical assault.

Right now without any evidence it is just hearsay. It could well be a shakedown, certainly not the first time an athlete would be a target of such practices.

Have to look at both sides here.

He should be suspended.

Heck, as a side point, even in the legal context, folks on trial for murder are charged and held in remand (not on bail) until their trial, might be 2-3 years in many cases. Even though still innocent until proven guilty, they are still literally locked up due to the gravity of the charges.

As they shouldn’t be.

Peppers was suspended by the league 2 years ago after being charged & was subsequent acquitted so there’s precedent as to why the league shouldn’t.

Unless there’s visual, damning evidence, then it’s play on.
