He needs to publiclly say he will either retire or sit out and he will never play another snap for them. because Cinci wont trade him for what other teams are willing to pay.

Rams make the most sense because of the Falcons 1st round pick. but even then i dont see Cinci taking pick 13 and likely 2 picks in the late 20s or 30s. Which i think is more then fair for him with the injuries

He wont be going anywhere and nor do i think he wants out either. Hes from Ohio, and also or more importantly he'd want Ja'Marr Chase to go with him and no way the Bengals trade them both.

It's all just fan speculation and even players engaging social media

I dont think he goes. but its his own fault for signing the extension. people warned him.

I guess he likes not playing in January

Here is another bust QB from Bama

Hard to be a bust when you are a day 3 pick thats just PS/Camp arm.

at least thats what grade i would have on him

One of the dynasty guys I follow has this draft class for QBs worse than the Kenny Pickett one. Mendoza rated his #1 but only passes 7 of the 16 criteria he has in his model. (Need 10 to be considered good enough to become a career starter in the NFL) 😬
How did last year's QBs go against his model?

Ward 12, Dart 10 were only players in double figures.
2024: Caleb 14, Daniels 12, Nix 11, Maye 10
2023: Young 11, Stroud 10, Hooker 10
2022: Pickett 11, Howell 10, Purdy 10

Yeah, Rice had character issues coming out.

I guess now KC are not that good they will find it easier to cut him. But barring a suspension another team would just pick him up so KC might feel without a season long suspension just keep him

Seeing reports they have him as 3rd QB off the board behind Mendoza and moore and chance to go end of first or start of 2nd round. Which would make him a major bust cause you are right at best his a late day 3 pick.

They don't have the ammo what team is going to want to trade with what they can offer.
Pick 13 and pick in late 20s and then a couple of future first that are going to be late 20s. You would be crazy to take that offer to move down from pick 1 or 2.
If a gm made that trade with rams he should automatically be fired.

Sure, but if they evaluate Mendoza and dont believe hes a "generational" talent then it wouldnt hurt to trade the first for the kitchen sink, sign a bridge qb, and go hard for Manning (say) with a plethora of draft ammo

And what happens if you get to 2027 and there is no QB worth trading up for or its like 2024 and no team at top of draft wants to trade down even if you have ammo they rather pick their own Franchise QB. You have just set you team back another year if that's the case.

Plus is the rams ammo going to be enough to entice teams to trade down I think not they would want your picks not picks in the late 20s early 30s.

Do I believe Mendoza is a generational talent at QB, Hell no but I think the same about Manning. But could Mendoza turn into a very good QB in the Goff, Purdy or Baker mold I think so and be your starting QB for next decade. And that is worth not trading down with the rams.

Odds are they take Mendoza because its obvious they have to try for a franchise QB. Just saying if they evaluate him and dont like him, then trading is better than drafting him. But the fans will kill the club if they dont take a QB #1

Just watching some "versus" videos of a few of the top QB prospects. Am I wrong to consider Dante Moore as the best of the class? Really liked the look of his style, processing speed, pocket awareness, accuracy, and able to make many clutch off-platform throws.

It’s the 18 starts only in 3 years and couldn’t beat out Gabriel for starting job that has me worried. His got 1 year of good of tape his ucla tape is just plain horrible.
Plus his got a slight frame, offers nothing with legs, still can struggle at times on short passes and tends to force throws when under pressure into coverage.

He is still so raw so will need to sit his first year.

Its hard to look bad in the Oregon offense. I think he is the Ducks worst QB in a long time. And im not high on Nix or Gabriel. Might have to go back to the Chip Kelly era to find one less impressive unless its one of the ones between Mariota and Herbert that i cant remember off the top of my head
