I often wonder why AFL players all seem to get married and have kids at such a young age.

Surely one of the perks of being an elite and well paid sports person who trains hard and risks getting hurt is getting to root a lot?

My advice to any AFL players.

1. Don't marry your childhood sweetheart.

2. Wait until you are 35 to get married and have kids .
