This is a great day’s play for us.

Plenty of runs, some shit bowling and our quicks have had a full days rest.

Tomorrow could be fun.

Every run we make will demoralise them further

Stat just appeared revealing that England has dropped 35 catches in its past 10 tests. Bowlers have to work harder, get frustrated and catches win matches. Do they work hard on their fielding?
Their general fielding capability is horseshit. Even if you take the officially dropped stuff, the amount of potential opportunities that have been lost from not running hard enough, and just basic fielding skills has cost them plenty.

I do understand why we went with Green and I probably would have as well but gee poor old Webster deserved a run.
TBH he's come in at a good time. Plenty of easy runs to be had and there not just focusing on good line and length plus the spinners are bowling. Been the easiest 30 odd runs he would make I reckon so far.

He should have been in over Inglis for Brisbane. Especially because he was batting 7 not 5

Although his run out of Stokes was a top 5 most important moment of this ashes

England get bowled out on this road in the second innings, they all should taken out the back and get a good whipping, especially as Australia hasn’t got a specialist spinner

They let their fielding coach (Paul Collingwood) go before the tour started - which was at the behest of McCullum.

I wonder where this ranks in terms of all-time worst bowling performances by a bowler in Australia by Potts here?

Imran Tahir 0/260 is pretty bad.
Tahir's was an entire match. The thing with Murali is he conceded 224 in a single innings. But Tahir's takes the cake as the worst bowling economy rate for 20+ overs of all time.

His 0/180 in the first innings was off 23 overs at 7.82 rpo Poor bastard.
