A national royal commission into the Bondi terror attack has been called by Anthony Albanese after weeks of pressure to establish the inquiry.

I will tell you the Royal Commission findings.

1) it will be recommended that the Australian government should renounce any financial support for Palestine as a state and show support for Israel.
2) All Muslim women will be required to remove their hijab, burka or religious headdress while’s in Australia
3) Immigration is stopped for 24 months, especially Middle East with any links to terror organisations.
4) and English as a language is used in every Australian household.

But because the Australian Labor Party is about inclusivity and welcoming, the 4 points will be ignored and not used.

$500 million well spent.

Well they can destroy all those lists - I mean the Ladies CWA, Lawn Bowls Association and the Garbos Union are upset their lists won’t get any prominence now.

Well at least it isn’t just on antisemitism either and will have a wider TOR. And he was never going to take on any advice from the Coalition. They will whinge and carryon but no-one cares what they think, they aren’t the government.

And the least we speak of Josh Fraudenberg moreso the better.

The powerful probe will focus on four key areas which include:

1. Tackling the key-drivers of anti-Semitism, including religious and motivated extremism and radicalisation

2. Making recommendations to enforcement, border immigration and security agencies to tackle anti-Semitism

3. Examining the circumstances which led to the Bondi terrorist attack

4. Making further recommendation to improve social cohesion and steps to counter the spread of ideological and religiously motivated extremism in Australia

The federal review will replace the NSW royal commission, which was previously promised by state Premier Chris Minns.

I mean is there some sort of register or stat? I remember a few incidents before Bondi that have coincided with what's happening in Gaza. But as long as I can remember there have been anti Israel fanaticism and Jewish people targeted. I guess there has also been a rise in Neo nazis as well

Well the Murdoch media keep reporting it, so it must be true. ;)

Given the war on Gaza, there would be a rise in anti-Semitism world wide.

I can’t read the article, but the headline doesn't make a lot of sense. Demand (especially for AC) usually at its highest after solar hours and solar also doesn't provide grid stabilisation functions.

Edit : read the article. Peak demand was at 4pm hence why it was covered by solar. Next big shift will be home batteries (and hopefully EV batteries) covering household usage in the evening.

Ignoring for argument’s sake that that these data will include both genuine antisemitism as well as criticism of Netanyahu and the Israeli government (which we’re being told is tantamount to antisemitic hate speech against all Jews now), Albo should be ashamed of himself. Look at the appalling rise in antisemitism in [checks notes] every country on Earth under Labor’s watch.

Would never have guessed... but don't worry it's coming down with increase in batteries, much of which is not in your graph as never goes into the grid.
