So we’ve had the large increase, thanks for pointing it out
Benji has amped up hate against Jews worldwide with his war crimes in response to Hamas murders... so no surprise.

More a hate against Israel than Jews however most conflate Israel with Jews and vice versa. And then you have Zionism which is probably where the hate is directed as well.

It is a complicated issue.

Ignoring for argument’s sake that that these data will include both genuine antisemitism as well as criticism of Netanyahu and the Israeli government (which we’re being told is tantamount to antisemitic hate speech against all Jews now), Albo should be ashamed of himself. Look at the appalling rise in antisemitism in [checks notes] every country on Earth under Labor’s watch.

So are you for or against Albo finally calling the Royal Commission that has always appeared to be wanted by most Australians? Yes or no you support the Royal Commission?

So why do you think the increase happened?
Silly question, we all know why.

The question being an Australian, is what did the Australian government do to stop it? Why do we have the largest increase and our largest terrorist attack?

Do you have any other predictions for us today? I’d love for you to keep your streak going 😆

But don’t you think it’s a bit ironic that you kept referring to me as dumb and not knowing politics and you ended up being proven the ignorant dumbo 😆

Before rooftop solar, we would have usually had rolling blackouts during heatwave... & now most can use their air-conditioning as needed.

How did you miss this Kano being your go to source for your renewables info?.....don't answer that I know why. 😂👆

Mine have already been going well beyond that.

Sure South Australians are happy not to have the regular blackouts on hot days prior to solar. Ie. When the really need to cool the house.

Those polls must’ve been really bad.
Biggest backflip since Neil gave Tyson Edwards a farewell game after all

Sensible by Albo. Only thing he could have done. At least he didn't double down on his initial idiocy, like the Crows steamrolling ahead with their 2025 finals football blueprint.

It's not even about anti-Semitism for me. We're an increasingly multicultural society and the problems of the world are likely to spill over here in future too.

I can’t read the article, but the headline doesn't make a lot of sense. Demand (especially for AC) usually at its highest after solar hours and solar also doesn't provide grid stabilisation functions.

Edit : read the article. Peak demand was at 4pm hence why it was covered by solar. Next big shift will be home batteries (and hopefully EV batteries) covering household usage in the evening.

I have had solar for 10+ years and last August installed a battery.

I cannot see how home solar with a battery does not form a massive part of our energy solution.

We use a lot of power in our house but also generate a crazy amount (even with 10 year old panels)

We comfortably get through the evening with the battery and that’s with charging a plug in hybrid at about 4pm.

Obviously winter will be different, I am looking forward to tracking the stats though.

Household Solar/battery could be its own thread but I fear it would turn into a shitshow!!

Well.. putting aside your complete ignorance to the fact that antisemitism has risen around the world due to the corrupt Bibi israeli governments genocidal actions.. and no, speaking out against genocide is not antisemitic.. its anti Bibi and his disgusting government.. the majority of israeli’s are also disgusted by it.. are they antisemitic too?

Lets look at what Labor has done to reduce antisemitism in this country since it has been in government..

Appointed special envoy to combat antisemitism
Established Special Operation Avalite to investigate antisemitic threats and attacks
Banned nazi saultes and symbols
Introduced legislation that criminalised hate speech
Gave 32 million to synagogues to increase security
Upgraded holocuast education facilities nationwide
Improved information sharing between state and federal police to prevent antisemitic attacks

So.. maybe you Georgie can now tell us all what your beloved Coalition did when last in power to stop antisemitism..

I have asked the other coalition supporters in here in recent weeks this exact same question and got crickets..

Nothing, nada, sweat fxxk all..

But we all know that the racism, antisemitism, islamaphobia, hate toward our first nations people and bigotry towards our LGBTIQ communities all comes from your right hand side of the political divide… so we understand why the last federal coalition did fxxk all about it and thus you muppets cant provide a list..

“Everyone has a right to be a racist and bigot” was the lib coalitions call when changes to 18c were flagged..

Everytime someone is homophobic and racist its the hard right that comes out and defends this appalling shite and squealing like stuck pigs saying “people should have a right to free speech!!!..”

So go on Georgie.. give us a fxxkn list mate.. tell us all what your beloved liberals have ever done to try stop all this hate.. hate that their side of politics create.

So.. We’ll be waiting for your list.. but none of your buddies in here have been able to provide one so we wont be holding our breaths..

There is one started by 1970Crow in December. I'm sure there are others.

Rooftop solar on its own creates headaches. Combined with storage it's exactly what the transition is planning for. Except aemo has more control over planning large scale renewables/storage. Households it has no control over and is definitely exceeding it's estimates for both solar and battery installs. That's a good thing especially for batteries.

If home batteries (including EVs) can shave off a decent chunk of peak demand and soak up excess solar during the day, that means we need to build fewer renewable farms, large batteries, hydro, distribution assets and transmission lines.

Even better, we could actually build decent standard houses in the first place that use a lot less energy so we dig up fewer resources.

Edit: I think government forking out $7 billion in home batteries is going to be way more efficient than consumers paying for 100s of billions of infrastructure over the long term. The subsidy scheme wasn't designed well though (what scheme ever is?) and they needed to fix it up as they have done recently. Still done inefficiency there though she poor quality installers. Think we'll see some issues come out of the El cheapo ones.

Same story covered on ABC if people can't access the AFR article.

Very cool to see the system doing its job and having this impact. Those rolling blackouts and no A/C in heatwaves were a f***ing disaster.

If it is the path forward all new builds should include solar/battery.

During summer I have been pretty well self sufficient and have exported 1 MWh still, could localised suburban battery storage be the answer rather than centralised large batteries? (honest question, I dont know enough about it)

Well the ones on my mothers house have been going since 2010 - now in its 16th year.

You pay for quality you will get long life, just like everything in life.

You ask the Coalition fan bois even the broader question, what the Coalition did for 9 years in government and you get 🦗.

Now I’m going to suggest that with a complicit media (dominated by Murdoch, Nine Entertainment Co and Stokes in WA) the ALP Federal Government is held to a higher standard than a LNP one.

Mine are closer to the 13 year old mark (as apposed to 10 I said above), still generates the same as when it was new. (40+ KWh a day during summer) They have paid for themselves many times over with our consumption.

Cheaper is rarely better!

But you will have Bicks saying but they needed coal at night.

Yes, we do at the moment but as time progresses, more batteries come online and household batteries increase this demand from traditional fossil fuels will diminish.

This is the issue that the likes of Bicks don’t get, new technology will replace old ways of doing things. As simple comparisons - cars replaced horses, smart phones replaced land lines, email replaced fax machines etc.

lol.

First off who said I didn’t know antisemitism had gone up around the world?

What our lefty friend showed today though was it’s risen in Australia at a greater rate than elsewhere so whatever list you’ve come up with for Labor clearly hasn’t worked.

Now the stupidity of your question and what you are demanding from those of us on the right, what did the Coalition do? It’s a nonsense question because again you’ve been shown the issue occurred under Labor’s watch, that’s why you’ve been ignored.

I could search through your posting on the matter, but my hunch is you were defending Labor and Albo for not calling the RC, I asked your 0/3 mate kirky and he didn’t answer, was Albo right then or is he right now?
