Shit, I answered 18, I just realised I watched Bulldogs game on delay.

Just missed the Hawthorn x2, West Coast + North Melbourne away

Also, I wonder if they will convince enough people to go gold.

I was told by member services there is a wait list for gold that is likely to be longer than the amount handed in/not renewed, maybe a small amount left over. I also heard (through grapevine) that gold members might get priority for finals weeks 1-3??? No idea where that came from, I'm guessing because of ticketing debacle and gold members not getting tickets or dud seat options.

I think the week 1-3 priority will go to 11 game members regardless of category.

As they should. Gold membership is to get you guarantee Grand Final Ticket if crows are participating. Normal finals should be all 11 game members. Including SMA/Crows Essential or Reserved Seating members.

Maybe, sorry was going on this year and I got an email this week that says priority in 2026 (it’s a 4 game showdown reserve membership)

this "11 game members only" commentary is a bit rank - as a Victorian member I took full advantage of the ability to purchase finals tickets in Adelaide. (Am also a Gold member for what its worth so maybe I do have an added sense of entitlement)

She says there is a voucher in there for $20 as well as my barcoded membership card. I already had a $21 voucher emailed to me. Which I have used. So looks like i got double.

Replied to club in every communication asking for feedback with the same but might as well rant here too, it's a bit of a money hungry joke that they canned the kids showdown membership last year and refuse to bring it back.

In 2024 they had the 3 game Showdown membership available for Adults and Kids. We couldn't make the Showdown that year since it was a Thursday so I got my regular 3 game membership and took the kid along. 3 game memberships for kids are not really worth the money based on the discount offered, so I always just buy a full price ticket for him. My mate however purchased himself and his kid the Showdown membership.

Last year we could go to the Showdown so I go to upgrade mine to a Showdown membership, and buy one for my kid. No sign of a kids Showdown membership now.

Phoned and spoke to membership services who tried to gaslight me that it doesn't exist and never did. I said that's odd, given that not only did my mate have it last year, but his renewal invoice had grandfathered his kids showdown membership into 25 too. At that point they admitted yes it did exist, but we don't offer it now. I asked if it's still in the system why can't it just be offered?

Told them it was going to cost them a membership, as a kids 3 game has little value to us when we upgrade to seats each game, so I was either buying my kid a Showdown membership, or no membership. At which point it was implied that the Showdown memberships will sell out anyway, so they have no incentive to offer a lower price for kids. I had a slight hope they might pull some strings and make it magically an option for me, but instead it's just nah, we don't get enough money from the little tackers.

did i read write, that members dont get an actual barcoded hard card anymore? since when or did i read wrong? i havent been a member since 2018. long time member before that though 1991-2018.. (Yes, 2017 made me realize its time to do other things that plan my weekends around this club) lol
