Well have 2 weeks after for some reason, when everyone else starts the week after
Don't they expected the backlash from divisional clubs about the 8 team comps.

Big V fixtures are out.

June 6 - Big V Men and Woman (v Adelaide in Adelaide)

June 11 - B - D3 & U/19 (v Goulburn Valley @ EP)
Don't underestimate the GVFL. Possibly the second best regional football competiton in Victoria, next to the Bendigo Football League.

As far as the interstate game against South Australia is concerned, if the Vics lose to SA after being beaten by WA in the Big V Centenary Game last year, will alarm bells be ringing loudly at Elsternwick Park?

Um, Geelong?

Love your passion Jase but I think most of us really don’t care. With times tougher the general feeling is that it is an unnecessary waste of money, especially when it involves interstate travel.

On another note – any chance HQ can update the players transfers page. Last updated on 7 December :(.

Might be because you can't submit transfers from 01/12 through to 31/01

Geelong, O&M, Goulburn Valley, Mornington Peninsula and Ballarat all well ahead of Bendigo, with Gippsland in the equation as well.

Bendigo is nowhere near top three.

With you...very few people care other than former Big V players trying to keep their memories alive and relevant and the players chosen...lower the prices for finals entry with the money spent on rep footy...

Thanks for the information. Had no idea this was the case. Apologies to HQ for the drive-by.
Tbf, the only people who need to know are current or former (in my case) people who are in charge of transfers at their club.

Ovens and Murray the best

I thought you'd be more interested in who Hampton will be playing during the year

Let’s be honest Jase, if the Big V was ever able to put out its best team, it would destroy any opposition up to a representative VFL or SANFL team.

The last time it was anywhere near full strength was at Frankston when it obliterated Vic Country by 14 goals.
