To be fair, I was more having a go at Tarryn than Duursma there. Last I checked, lackadaisical attitudes were not punishable by law. Despite my objections.

I know you love your skiing so you would be happy to know the snow is absolutely pumping across the north, Japan sea, mountains etc. 1 meter plus per day.

I absolutely love winter in Osaka because it’s the only time of the year when we get some variety in the weather. Monday was 18 and I was walking around in a t-shirt. Yesterday was 6 with a low of -2.

Pretty cheap compared to other brands but it comes down to the maintenance cost. Clarkson only bought his because of the 'haha its a Lamborghini' joke and swallows the cost of maintenance.

Apparently the Lamborghini tractors (much like their cars) can be unreliable. Wide range of issues from electrical gremlins to mechanical issues. But it can also depend on how well it's maintained ultimately.

I've never seen one. Plenty of JDs, New Hollands, Masseys etc but never one. That might be why.

But then again tractors are always needing maintenance. Probably need at least three hours a week. I reckon cost of parts and availability might be an issue as well.

They are actually SDF rigs and under the bonnet. A lambo , SAME or Deutz are exactly the same other than the paint code or the few odd bonnet panels that differ.

And their are various models from pure mechanical agrolux variants right through to agrotrons with significant electrics are pretty consistent with case new holland and JD.

And fwiw case and new holland are virtually the same now just one painted red and other blue....

They have ads here in NZ to remind the farmers to check under the hood before they start their tractors to make sure no Swallow nests.

There is a PHD Thesis in this question for sure. Can we get some intellectual Professor type from Monash to tackle it with her students. I think a minimum of 6 volumes would do it.
