thats not accurate, approximately 15-20% failure rate for an acl, a patella rupture is 2-5% and I cant think of anyone who's done it again in the AFL

Very different positions though. Wouldn't want that injury as a mid.

omeara is one of the biggest what ifs of the last decade. looked to have the kind of talent to be in the top handful of players of his generation and then had successive knee injuries after which he never really reached a ceiling beyond a C+ / B grader.

i think his situation is different from payne's in that he had multiple other knee issues and complications post his initial surgery. any loss of athleticism would however be a serious blow to payne's stocks as a player.

Froggy in his press conference said we've got an intraclub on the weekend but could've been referring to this one or next. We play Carlton in 21 days tomorrow. You'd think we want min 2 or 3 intraclubs

I don’t monitor any other clubs home page or socials, but the only “news” i’ve heard about other clubs is injuries.
I’m going with “no news is good news”.

Lots of different teams fan podcasts/youtube channels covering intra club games from last week and the weekend.

Richmond has a 4 minute video on their website from their intra club, and another 5 minute video of training on their website.

Different clubs have preseason articles, time trial reports and top 5 finishes. Intra club highlights and training videos, etc.

Us, we’ve had 3 press conference videos and updates on where our cup is on tour.

There is an open training run scheduled at the Sunshine Coast on Fri 30th Jan.

At last year's event, they concluded training with a pseudo intraclub for, from memory, about half an hour or more.

Worst club in the comp for this and also astounding there isn’t a pointed effort to cash in on recent success and keep the ball rolling

Lions may not be great at the Social Media thingy, but we do all right in September which is more important.

I have not been able to get out to preseason training so far this year. So, no report or photos from me yet.

I am moving to another unit so concentrating on that at present.

The numbers turning up for rental inspections is crazy. Hopefully i can get approval for one soon or i will be sleeping in my car. BHA car park looking a likely spot
