Watched the game this morning and Condo was BOG today and when the game was tight he stepped up with blocks, steals, assists & points.
Game high 25 points (25-7-6).
Could be a chance for the draft again.

He is such an inconsistent player and with Haugh and Chinyelu being so consistent they look more likely to be the 2 Gators drafted.
Dash Daniels looks like being the 1st Aussie off the board.

ITs funny. I keep reading that Condon - an inside player - won't get drafted because his outside shot isn't good enough, but Daniels - a perimeter player with a terrible jump shot is going to go early. Daniels does look electric, but the notion that a big needs a 3 point shot to get drafted, but a guard doesn't, is just bollocks. If you're going to be an outside shooter, you need an outside shot, but a lot of good NBA players aren't outside shooters - particularly inside players.

Haugh (Condo's team mate hit 2 of 4 3's yesterday - 23/7/3) and Chinyelu double double (10/15/0).
Watched the Heat today Adebayo and Ware bot hit 3's and both inside players.
I am still tipping Haugh and Chinyelu as the only 2 Gators that will get drafted as well as Daniels the 1st Aussie.

My point isn't about whether it's advantageous. Of course it is in any role. But people crossing Condon off for his outside shot when a guard with a jump shot like Daniels is likely to get drafted - maybe even early.

Here's Daniels making one, but it's rebuild and start again in terms of his technique. It's awful, as are his stats from both the line and the arc.

Condo's size and height has him in a group of over 50+ similar guys in the NCAAB.
At Florida Haugh is similar height but his scoring numbers are way higher and this why he will go late 1st early 2nd round.
Chinyelu is regarded as the best defensive tall player in the NCAAB and best rebounder in the team.
With those 2 picks you don't have to do any extra work they are NBA ready.
Condo would need a team to be willing to invest the time and effort - we will see if there are any.
March Madness will be his last real chance to show the NBA scouts what he has to offer.

Yeah, he's not NBA ready - if he gets drafted it'll be on the back of projections of his transition running and inside game when he's physically mature. He'd be monstered in the NBA at the moment, but still a good prospect. Runs the court really well. Movement is sharp enough to guard a range of players. Really competitive - but he's not big enough yet. I won't be surprised either way - might be a bit too long term for an NBA roster - but I won't be surprised if someone is keen and adds him - he's developing well.

I'm just suggesting that the obsession with 3 point percentage isn't going to be why he's drafted or not.

3 point shooting is now becoming a requirement and not an option as it used to be.
Dash has the big upside just like Dyson did and look at him now.
Heat drafted Ware and did not play him for 1 year and let him get accustomed to not just the game but the travel and playing frequency in the NBA.
Now he is a 7' double double machine that also shoots 3's - that is what Condo is up against (Ware is 2 months older than Condo)
Condo will be a project (just like Dash) and it depends on if the teams want a project or game ready - like Haugh and Chinyelu at the Gators.
Time will tell - I think he is on the bubble and how he performs in March will be the deciding factor.
Another game like the Tide and he will be drafted but another like the Tigers and he won't be.
Even if he doesn't get drafted he may want to graduate a Gator (as he was in their winning 2025 title team) - which means we won't see him until mid 2027 at the earliest.

Imagine if he does get drafted and we all get disappointed, but then he gets waived soon after and comes back!
