From. I was OK with the premise of a town that you can't escape and it's haunted by ghouls. Then it just got dumb.
It didn't take long either. I'm curious how many seasons these clowns are going to try and squeeze out of it.I always enjoy an alternative view - what made you hate the show specifically? I can certainly see flaws or convoluted plots, but you have genuine hatred that is interesting. It didn't take long either. That's a great showShrinking on Apple is pretty good, about a bunch of shrinks in California, and their various issues.
Harrison Ford is really good in it.

Ah, yep. I get that.I can't speak for Beerfish but I didn't hate it. Just decided not to watch any more of it based on the first episode.
Like I said, I was OK with the supernatural premise but it had people doing stupid stuff on top of that. The family in the RV doing laps round the town was good but then they got run off the road by the two idiots on drugs. The medic fixed a severe wound to the little boy's leg by bandaging him outside his jeans. The rescue squad ran over the spike strip they had laid a little earlier.
That's not 'genuine hatred'. It's just bad in every way. Odd that you interpreted that way.I always enjoy an alternative view - what made you hate the show specifically? I can certainly see flaws or convoluted plots, but you have genuine hatred that is interesting.
In which ways specifically? If you just use general terms like "acting, writing" etc it doesn't really help explain. If you don't want to share then no problem - I was interested, not having a go at you. Odd that you interpreted it that way. That's not 'genuine hatred'. It's just bad in every way. 2 episodes left in s1 of Landman. If this is the better season I'm not sure I even want to bother with s2. Has been pretty disappointing. BBT and Jon Hamm are the only ones worth watching. The wife and daughter and their inane lives are nothing but boring padding. Should have just done more seasons of Goliath. This is rubbish in comparison.
Been trying a few first eps to find a show to watch.
The Pitt. Seems well made but not my cup of tea.
From. I was OK with the premise of a town that you can't escape and it's haunted by ghouls. Then it just got dumb.
The Lincoln Lawyer. Some interesting characters and initial plot. I loved David E. Kelley's previous show, Goliath, so I'm gonna go with this one.
Yeah that's what I feared when people were saying s2 was worse. If you think the wife and daughter are inane in S1, you ain't seen nothing yet. S2 dials the inanity up to 11!

from: the premise is actually interesting. but it has a writing style that oozes - we will string you along as much as we can. we will bog the show down in ridiculous drama to avoid resolving anything. viewers are stuck, unable to escape and need to search for clues to understand what is happening. the show is surely based on a metaphor for badly written tv.
I tried Season 1 and gave up after like 4 episodes, Billy Bob and his daughter just irritated me too much2 episodes left in s1 of Landman. Finished last night. Jon Hamm made it out before s2 and let's face it whenever Andy Garcia shows up you know shit's going downhill. I tried to tell her everyone lived happily ever after the end but Mrs B said she's invested nowI tried Season 1 and gave up after like 4 episodes, Billy Bob and his daughter just irritated me too much

Chair Company is wild, have you seen the Scrooge ep yet?Finished the Pitt, it was very good, not the instant classic some people suggest. The last episode kind of peters out, which I know is by design, because it's meant to replicate a day in the emergency ward and eventually things slow down and people clock out, but I think it sucked some of the energy out of the show.
Watching The Chair Company with Tim Robinson up to his usual antics, if a little more restrained. A successful manager has an embarrassing incident on a chair and in trying to complain, uncovers a conspiracy. Some brilliant slapstick stuff in the middle episodes and hilariously drawn weird characters.
