can someone give me a run down of Sonsie's game. Did he play mostly i the middle? was his decision making good? did his kicks hurt? did he win his own ball or just got on the end of handballs ? Was his form something to that might show a real leap, or just took advantage of the other team not rating him and leaving him open etc

The highlight of his performance was running forward of a centre bounce contest, receiving a handball in open space between centre and CHF, and delivering with precision onto the chest of Armstrong on a hard lead 35m out directly in front.
You would have raved about it if you saw it. Which is troubling for Sonsie's future.

He squibbed a couple of contests, was super unaccountable running the other way, and stat padded the rest of the day off the back of others efforts.

another year of the meteoric fart follwing me around Bigfooty. yipee.

Every argument you have made since 2021 has been proven wrong, yet you stay here talking your own reality like donny T.

This is the last time i will respond to you this year. You are a immense bore and fanboy, not doing another year of this - consider yourself ignored. When you do reply to me, do so completely realising - you are talking to no one.

Just my opinion but I felt he was serviceable, comparing his game to what we have seen the past few years he got a lot more of the ball, I don't think I've recalled him getting over 20 disposals since that final against the lions years ago.
It was promising however the only negative to getting that many disposals was I didn't feel it hurt Essendon as much as it should.
Overall it was more positive than negative, hope he now uses it as a bench mark.

carltoon is gonna beat us by 40 plus
It will absolutely be their GF after Round 1 last year, and rightly so...Miller will take care of Harry, but I don't think we've got a match for Wil Hayward, who generally gets us...If we have a fast start - unlike last year - you never know...

didnt we beat the swannettes in our wooden spoon season with those campaigners in the team

sadly one of our best players on the weekend and I say sadly because I don't think he was that great - the rest of our team was just cheeks

bunch of disposals but 1 tackle which I put down to the fact it's preseason match sim bruise free footy so can't really blame him too much there

but sonsie also got a lot of midfield time which I don't think will (or should) be given to him in the season unless we're decimated by injury

because if we're not putting our veterans in the centre bounce I'd rather us just get time/games into our future stars since sonsie for me is just going to be a gap filler and not much more for as long as he stays with us, which is still useful to have as not everyone needs to be a star. anthony miles-esque but for fwd/mid/wing
