We've actually had an incredibly good run at finding / developing high-quality ruckmen over my lifetime considering how rare they are across the league. We've even developed ruckmen like Troy Simmonds and Darren Jolly who went on to have successful careers outside of the club after they couldn't get reliable game-time with us.

If only we'd had the same hit-rate with KPFs...

Yeah the video is what i want. I think he did kick one on the run in a preseason game against west coast in 2017, so i'll just have to imagine it

The match was livestreamed (possibly by the ABC?) so the footage exists no doubt, I remember watching. If not for that article I would genuinely think I'd hallucinated it.



I wonder if this was also Jake Spencer, who on account of performing a miracle on field had to compensate by doing something apocalyptically moronic off of it to return to his baseline.

I went looking, and while I didn't find a video I did find an article about how after we secured a massive 3 year sponsorship deal with Kaspersky, we came back the following year demanding way more on the basis that we were primed to be the next powerhouse of the competition. Kaspersky decided to part ways with us soon after.
