Nah, like his dad, he got his goals deep from the pockets or in the scramble outside of the square.

Craig and Nick were undersized full forwards - fantastic goal sense, great readers of the flight, but both undersized for a key role.

Re Florent, I think the knee was accidental. He has just never shown himself to be a dirty player, especially to someone he is close mates & business partners with. He deserves all of the benefit of the doubt IMO.

I will say he did look a bit overwhelmed by the occasion all night. I felt really sorry for him. We can't want & hope for players to fall in love with our club and then expect them to get over it if the club hurts them. This guy also made our club his chosen family in the immediate aftermath of losing his dad. Regardless of what he's said in interviews since about fresh starts etc., tonight would've been a difficult and emotional one for him, and hopefully now that it's done with it's onwards & upwards from here.*

*As long as Carlton are still shite, that is.

I don't think the knee dropped. My gut feel is that he looked down to make sure he didn't stand on Heeney's hand. Heeney's head didn't move and was at perfect knee height. I don't think it was malicious but the look down in the slow mo looks really bad
