Who was missing Jen2310 ?
The two indigineous kids. They were at the footy on sunday though. They might have had to do something with the eddie betts foundation they are part of.

Millane.
Faulkhead
McCartin
Rod Ali

Tomorrows the main sesson so they'l prob participate in that.

Still training :

If we play 24-25 players again on sat for the practice game (I assume whomever gets dropped for moore will be the carry over and wont play this practice game anyway) then we'll pick 16 vfl players + 8 afl players.

Not sure if it meant anything but those in the black.

Will Phillips
Max Mahoney
Hamish Collins
Zavier Maher
Jake Watts
Michael Lewis
Oscar Lonie
Charlie Lawless
Rod Ali
Ben De Bolfo
Tadhg McCarthy
Josh Bennetts
Teakle
Xavier Laverty
Connor LeeFlang
Anthony Volta

What was interesting is Eyre trained with the mids, not the defenders.

Our VFL list looks really strong, even without the AFL boys.
Really wish the comp had each team playing each other once for 21 rounds.
Is there a compelling reason why they can't do that?
I would guess travel requirements (cost) and the wish for stand alone VFL clubs to have home and away games against local rivals.
The AFL fixture is compromised .......no reason this VFL fixture shouldn't be the same.

It also makes sense for the 3 QLD teams and the 2 NSW teams to play each other multiple times to save them costs and the costs for the Victorian clubs travelling up there

It might make sense financially for stand alone teams but it doesn't make for a proper competition.

Round 8: Sydney Swans vs Collingwood, Tramway Oval, Friday 15 May, 2:00pm

I’m hoping when the broadcast from VIC park they finally do it from an elevated position. The ground level telecast from vic park has been driving me nuts and hating our home games.
How hard is it to position on top of the stand like they always did back in the 80’s and film from there. It’ll be safer than the cranes I’ve seen them in at other grounds.
