So Ravens secured exclusive rights to the most coveted trade target for nothing, backed out, compromised the Raiders off season and still being uninhibited pursuing the highest rated fa.

Without penalty.

Even when I returned my "defective" Temu blow up doll I had to stump up for the return postage.

So pretty much confirmed The Ravens did a sneaky?

It seems they have a bit of history doing this.
Starting with stealing a franchise

Looks like the ravens simply balked at crosby's asking price.
I think its more that Hendrickson dropped his asking price and the contract would cost the same as Crosby without having to give up a pair of 1st round picks.

Either way it seems it was a monetary decision that trumped a medical one.

Will be curious to see what offers come raiders way.

On one hand it is wise for the raiders to get Crosby completely healthy and then trade him.

The only issue is they won't be able to get trade assets to use in the upcoming draft.

Really is a question of what they value right now in terms of roster building. Is it better to bring in more young talent in now or wait until next year's draft to select the talent that fits kubiak system?

Trying to see what Superbowl contending team would be willing to cough up atleast a first rounder . Surely the bears revisit the trade discussions again.

If I were the Raiders I'd hold onto Crosby
Should know by the weekend. He is due his bonus at the end of the week. there are 3 options

  • The Raiders pay the bonus [he likely stays for the season or till trade deadline]
  • The Raiders trade him again for less
  • Crosby and the Raiders push the bonus due date back to give more time for a trade

Paid thru the nose for Jaelan Phillips but it is what it is, I much prefer giving him 30m than the Commies giving 25m per year for a one year wonder like Oweh who benefitted from playing opposite Mack. Like the Devin Lloyd signing.

Annoyed Nijman retired, was hoping to bring him back to play LT while Ekwonu was out. If we roll into the season with Stone Forsythe as LT after how shit he was for the Raiders last year ill cry.

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi reports that Falcons EDGE James Pearce is being charged with 3 felonies and one misdemeanor.
Pearce’s felony charges include “aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, fleeing and eluding police and resisting an officer with violence to his or her person.” His fourth arrest charge of felony aggravated stalking was changed to a misdemeanor. Per Raimondi, “Pearce allegedly followed the car of [WNBA player Rickea] Jackson, his ex-girlfriend, and repeatedly used his vehicle to collide with hers as she attempted to reach the Doral (Florida) police station.” A police chase allegedly ensued. After crashing his vehicle, Pearce fled on foot but was eventually caught and arrested. Pearce’s 2026 availability appears to be up in the air.

Emari Demercado 1 year deal with Chiefs

Jaquon Brisker 1 year deal with Steelers

Conner Heyward 2 year deal with Raiders

Calvin Austin 1 year deal with Giants

I like the moves they Steelers have made this offseason. Pittman, Dowdle, Dean and Brisker added.

The Minnesota Shortkings :crown:

Smart move with the money. take as little as you can so Arizona pay you more and smart by the Vikings if he is still as bad as ever can walk away free.

I dont want to jinx it but a Kyler and JJ QB room is going to make a few teams happy

Jags and a few others like the Packers are letting FA's walk and not replacing them with any notable deals to get comp picks for next season.

banking on mid rounds next year being good

Like thanks for the pick. but feel like they could of got this done after he was cut and kept the pick

Void years are getting out of controll. Its not as dumb as the Eagles 1 year/$2m contract with 4 void years from last season.

No wonder Rodger wants to get rid of void years

Vikings fans better get used to seeing batted balls.
