All we can say so far about the 2026 season is that it's a clean slate. The players that didn't want to be at the club have moved on and the only time we'll ever have to see Goody again is at the 10 year premiership reunion.

For the first time in half a decade we have the opportunity to hopefully look at a new game style rather than the one that stopped working half way through the 2022 season. All the players who have been turned into robots will hopefully be given some scope to express themselves as footballers under King. King also looks to be implementing a game style that will focus on fast movement, that will be fun to watch, win, lose or draw.

So fellow Dees supporters, let's try to enjoy the 2026 season and hopefully get a glimpse of what we can look forward to in the coming years.

It's good to have footy back.
