Parents/Guardians have always been free to go get their kids if they unfortunately ended up on the wrong side, more than 2000 have been returned this way. Well, not Ukrainian fathers, they can't leave the prison

Russia refuses to give back orphans from the separatist regions. This isn't particularly crazy because it would be a greater dislocation from their culture and Ukraine can barely offer services. They have been moved from front line areas because these often lack power/water/services.

The conflict these kids have been living under has been going on for 12 years, offering them a passport and possibly adoption is a small mercy after years.

690 children have been recorded as dead during those 12 years(most but not all by Russian hands). Considering the scale of the conflict(maybe 500k soldiers, 30k civilians) this is astonishingly small and there's no inkling that children are being targeted

Again, only 2 Chinese citizens deaths have been recorded and they were mercs. There are no 'Chinese troops' in Ukraine and the North Korean ones only fought in Kursk ie Russian territory pre-war. At least as far as anything I have seen

This is not particularly contentious. Military aged males can't leave Ukraine.

Was 18-60, though they raised it to 22-60 after male high school graduations dropped. This saw a pretty big exodus

Until late August, Roman wasn't allowed to leave Ukraine at all. When Russia's full-scale invasion began in February 2022, martial law dictated that men between 18 and 60 – even those not eligible for conscription, which is currently in place for those aged between 25 and 60 – were not permitted to leave the country.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has now announced that young men between the ages of 18 and 22 will no longer be barred from leaving. And those who want to return can do so freely, without the risk of being held at the border.

And yeh many men refuse to leave the house because they might get abducted by the TCC and press ganged

It's a prison if you don't want to fight. The borders are barbed wired, men have been shot or drowned in rivers trying to get out

Anyone is free to leave Russia at any point. Presuming the receiving country will take you(which may not be true for many Euro's unless you swear you're a dissident)

This is the sad end that many have predicted, Ukraine needed to negotiate at many points of this war, it could well have been over within a few months and the peace conditions keep getting worse. The mid 2024 cease fire proposal was the last decent one.

You should start a comedy act. The folks would get a laugh when you paint Ukraine's total capitulation as a "peace deal". Then tell them what a great leader Putin is. You'll get even more laughs when you explain how stealing Ukraine children isn't a war crime but a kindness.

I'll follow up your comedy piece with some real Russian humour. I was at the marriage of a friend from a Russian background. This was about 1980. I was talking to his father in the church, on the left wall there were pictures of the Czar and his family. I could understand this because they were white Russians. On the other wall were pictures of Lenin, Stalin and other Bolsheviks. I asked his father how come their pictures were there. He replied "Great Russian, just misguided".

Oh they moved from the frontlines, oh their parents got killed or are in prison or are in any different instances of 'I can't see my child at present" why do they never;

• Go to Poland.

• Go to Moldova.
• Go to Romania.
• Go to Slovakia.
