That's porridge!
he was the year above me at school and of course the nickname is related to this advert.
The year below me had another kid who starred in a very famous advert (and his brother was Matthew Krok the fat kid in hey day!) which was the heinz baked beans ad when he says
"and my big brothers motorbike jacket" which of course also became part of the pop culture lexicon when throwing in some steak knives in a deal.

I hear that whilst he was only a little kid, he was big for his age

Have a check of Vitality Air

It was stated as a joke by
Edmonton pair, Moses Lam and Troy Paquette. Back in 2014 they filled a Ziploc bag with fresh air from Banff National Park and sold it on eBay for 99c

The second bag they put on eBay sold for $168USD

By 2015 they moved from Ziploc bags to compressed canisters

They are still in operation, with current products including
  • Bottled Air & Oxygen: They still sell their flagship canisters of air from Banff and Lake Louise, along with concentrated, flavoured oxygen (such as grape and strawberry) targeted at athletes and polluted urban markets
  • Vitality H2O: A line of bottled mineral watersourced from the Rocky Mountains
  • Myst: A liquid mist product derived from Banff water, marketed for skincare and as a makeup remover

As for how much they now make - recent 2026 data indicates the company generates approximately $4 million to $5.8 million in annual revenue
I've been to Banff and it's worth a visit,

My cousin is looking to buy his first place. He is in his early 30s and I don't envy him at all. It was definitely easier when I bought my first house ahem years ago.

I used to run the IT in a Catholic school run by a monastery which had about 90 resident monks. Some of them were smart people, had been out in the real world as doctors and lawyers. Some of them had never known the real world and basically went from school to uni to study theology, then the seminary, then the monastery. Some were just plain loopy.

We had been through a few rough weeks of IT outages (not my fault, honest) and one day I walk into the comms room and there is an 80-year old monk blessing my network equipment with holy water. He was a lovely old fella but I had to steer him away from the sensitive electronics and explain why water - holy or not - may not be the best remedy.
Success is over rated. In the long road we are all dead. Some famous economist said that but it is the struggle that gives meaning to our lives.

I got rather ill awhile ago and people were praying for me across the globe. Now I am not a God botherer but I was touched. I reckon this monk knew you were stressed by the tech failures so decided to help the only way he could.

The destination is not always important but the journey can be lots of fun.

I said that!
