Can't stand Hawthorn at all. I won't be able to tolerate them winning a flag especially with Sicily and Mitchell on the podium on grand final day. Their fans will be unbearable if Gunston wins the Coleman and they get Butters after.

Might put 2023 on 26/9

I signed up to Kayo last year so I haven't watched footy on 7 since 2024. Kayo wouldn't work for me tonight so I had to watch on the 7+ app. Boy oh boy does the channel 7 coverage and broadcast team suck. Awful viewing (and listening).

These 50 penalties for encroaching are ruining the game.
Too harsh
The 50m penalties are now deciding games. The AFL rules makers should be happy with the continuous decline of a game that is no longer recognisable.
I would love to see at team lose a finals game by less than a goal as the umpire calls stand, 90m away, and the winning goal is kicked 40m out as a result in the last minute.

Pies supporters criticising a late pick swap for Buller. Atleast we didn’t sell the proverbial farm for Curnow. He’s a good player but fmd I couldn’t believe what they gave up. He’s no Jeremy Cameron

Curnow was terrible tonight. Buller trade much better

I recall same was said about the lippa trade at the time
We basically got Buller was nothing more or less. He's 24 and hopefully becomes a steal like Darcy Cameron was.

I much preferred the game when dropping the ball and throwing the ball were free kicks against.

Last game on Thursday, March 19 was the first match of the 2020 AFL Season which was held without a single soul in sight 6 years ago tonight. We had a big win over the Dogs at an empty Marvel without a crowd and 17-minute quarters

4 days later the season was suspended and the AFLW season was abandoned with no premier awarded. To this date Freo fans think they should've won that year's AFLW Premiership.

Cant believe that was 6 years ago! That first round to be one of the strangest rounds ever.

Having the MCG be completely empty and being able to hear the train go past during the game, as well the season being Postponed before Weat Coast were about to play Melbourne. Almost Like a different world.

Especially after his injuries. He looks significantly less dynamic at ground level nowadays, and isn’t as explosive on the lead

It was a high quality contest last night.
I thought the Swans' disposal was a little off by hand and foot, and they missed a lot of tackles.
Having their two best players out made a difference.
The major downside is the dirty undies won.

The only thing that makes a season bearable when the Hawks are good - is that Carlton, Essendon and Richmond are still sh*t.
Barracking for Papley is more than difficult. The channel 7 coverage really makes some matches difficult to watch. I think I take the 3 cesspits for granted. Richmond will be real good soon. Essendon and Carlton are just so so good at bad. Essendon has been more pleasing than expected this year.
