Doesn’t look to be getting the midfield opportunities. Looked more of an accumulating mid to do damage at underage level rather than being a low possession, high impact type player. Shows how stacked that side is for talent when guys like him are stuck in a forward pocket.

People will say this is a nothing stat and doesn’t mean anything but when you think statistics it’s pretty damning.

If this was a ‘coin toss’ the odds of this happening at random is 1.07%. You would expect to play 11 game sets 93 times before getting this result.

To put it for gamblers, if you put $100 on 93-1 odds you would get a payout from sportsbet of over $9,000.

At what point does it become such a tactical anomaly that someone has to stop a notice it’s not a coin toss but bias?

That said I don't reckon the list has much juice left. Look at their list profile. Green, Kelly, Coniglio, Whitfield and Hogan are all over 30 - those are core players and they don't have enough talent coming through to keep up the top of the ladder
