Only reason why people are holding Trac is because they dont like the FWD options. Don't see any reason in holding Trac over Marshall if you are getting in a FWD either way. And if Marshall is still a chance then it means he should be back next week anyway.

I was on Short all week but the weather has everyone spooked.. (including me now). I hate changing trades due to a forecast but here we are.

Next options are Ash V Zork.

I want Ash. But a bye next week is killer.

Hold Petracca probably for Moore/McDonald next week. Will jump on Farrow for Murdock this week as I think he will be a good cow. Get Milan back in later for more cashola generation.

Two questions.
1. If you didn't have Houston, would he be your first choice for Rozee, or would you go Jaicos? Current sadline is Sinc, Rozee, Milera, Windsor, blah blah...don't judge.
2. Would you go Sharp to Scerri instead of Watkins if it meant you would go from 20 playing this week to 21 (22 if Lindsay gets a gig). Prefer the look of Watkins but think I could do with the extra player.

I'm not sold on either of Scerri or Watkins. I feel the j/s for both is very ordinary.

Haha it’s all good I could see what you were trying to do. Just in the past people have tried to deliberately start false injury rumours (I know yours was just a light heated joke nothing nasty) which has led to some short-term chaos as coaches either scramble to change their teams or at least spend some time trying to verify if the rumour is true.

I've given trades some thought and interested to hear people's thoughts. Never a good idea to trade premiums of course but in this instance I think it makes sense.

I need to grab Houston, and very keen on Xerri showing he still has it and a very favourable matchup this week and draw for the next 3-4 weeks.

Benefit of grabbing Xerri this week is I'll net more points this week and next

I have 7 players on the bye next week, including Ash, Sinclair & Whitfield in the backline.

Rozzee > Houston
Whitfield > Xerri (via DPP)

Again, it goes to show that we should take absolutely no notice of practice matches.
All the Melbourne mid pricers looked good yet have all become duds.
The new ruck rules seemed to have had a huge negative effect on Xerri so I replaced him with English who couldn't even outscore a second game opponent.
Blakiston looked like he was going to average 80 yet can barely get to 40.
Visentini was going to be Port's sole ruck, an R3 safety net - another disaster.
Lindsay looked a safe bet as a DEF rook. Lasts one game.
My original squad looked so good before round 1 started. Now, it looks like shit.
