Any rookies worth jumping on this week?

I've pencilled in Farrow, but is Robey set for a debut too? None of the other debutants last round excite me, perhaps Josh Lai? His job security may be good for a few weeks as Port look to try the youth too.

Robey might be another week. Hope so.

Farrow and Watkins are the best 2 if you don't have them. Both should make about the same $$$ over the next 5 weeks if they keep their spots.

Watkins will make you faster money over the next 3 weeks due to his 95 while Farrow is M/B and $70k cheaper.

Visentini > Steene is another if you have him as your R3.

Was thinking the ship has sailed on Watkins but like you said has a 95 in his cycle now and I think Josh Carr and Port are not going to delude themselves into playing the oldies. Mature age MSD pick = decent scorer.

I don't have Visentini as R3, unfortunately lumbered with Jackson/Grundy/ZZ

I’m going Steene this week just due to having Vis r3 that I can eventually fix

Gives me another week to have a look at Farrow vs Lindsay

Then Robey for a downgrade in a couple of weeks (hopefully)

Thoughts on what trades I should do this week

Macrae > Steene is an easy one. I'll go against the grain and suggest be holding Xerri for now as you also have Uwland and Sharp, who aren't generating cash for you. Parish, Bruhn and Dovaston will all need trading soon. By the time you make these moves, Xerri is back and you've potentially saved two trades (one to get X out and another to get another ruck in).

Hi All,

Had a solid start to the year, and have banked almost $700k for an upgrade.

At this stage thinking Parish to Bont, but second trade will probably be Carroll to Watkins.

My forward line is awful though, so any thoughts would be greatly appreciated - not sure if I should do other trades?

Nice. The only yellow flag I see with this team is Dovaston. How much cash are you holding? Carroll still has some cash to make but you can afford to get aggressive by trading him to Watkins/Farrow.

Option 1 - Guns and Rooks is the way to go this year it seems.

I'd like to see Colby play someone other than Essendon before I jump back onboard. I'd also like to see Rachele's role with Dawson back in the side. Bont vs Essendon is gonna be mammoth so instant reward there.

Really want Bont this week but also want to hop on Rachele- I can get Dovaston up to Rachele no problem but to get Bont in will require trading out Brayshaw. Think it's too early to be doing sideways trades but I don't love any of alternatives for Blakiston so I'd rather chase the points.

My dilemma this week is Carrol > Watkins ($246k banked) for cash generation or Windsor > McKercher ($20k banked).

I really want to get in an Ash / Whitfield / Daicos next week but McKercher at $753k this week is really tempting.

I feel like Vis is useless so I like the Steene option. Carroll could go as well but could still squeeze a tiny bit more cash out of him.

Not a bad week to cash up on given we have Whit Ash Sinc Wang Callaghan as targets.

Yeah I think he’s the pick out of the two just because Cook is very expensive now, and I can still field 21 with Watkins instead of Cook.

I was tempted because getting Cook would allow me to field 22 (and he can score) but it’s probably not worth it when Watkins will make more money and is cheaper.

I think hes fine, has scored well enough other years with him, they also have a great run, but yeah his CBA's might drop a little, although i think he could start holding the 70% CBA's soon enough. Can def wait on him though.
