I said decent, trhere's a couple of triers in there for sure and I'd consider Haynes to be very decent but he came across as a 32 year old last year? When did Jones leave, 2021? Anyway, by the time both HOF and Dean are fully developed, Weiters will probably be gone.
I've loved both of those players but simply, I think the game has moved past them unfortunately. Crippa has worked himself into the ground for our club but im thinking it may be over after this year. They were both poor today so doesn't concern me who. Just too slow with ball in hand and having them in there together just leads to errors both offensively and defensively

I’ll play along.
And yet your club lost.
Fair well.
ruined brisbane..It's simply got to the stage now, that if Carlton F.C stick with Voss for more than 2 weeks, the AFL should charge us with blatant tanking and take our first draft pick off us lol.
A completely clueless dullard of a coach.
The only KPI he has improved on is the utter clueless bile he talks publicly, something he was already great at, but has got greater.
Destroyed this list. From its best players, to its worst players, to its younger players.
It is what it is.
Luckily the passion has died so much in most fans that the anger is long gone![]()
I want him say ANYTHING!You know he cant comment on the umpiring and honestly stop expecting anything from those pressers. How do people get mad over that stuff?
Florent was playing reserves & Hayward is only a bits player. Long contracts and need to perform better. Were Hayward and Florent this bad at Sydney or have we Carltonised them in 4 games?
We weee shit but the umps were worse.
I reckon Elijah is not the only player on the ground who made a mistake todayYep but a poor arse spoiling effort led to a goal. He’d like that one back.
I really dont know who has been available but it just irks me. Young was originally taken as a back up to weiters and jones, its not his fault he was elevated like that. As far as Derksen, seems like a great guy, not sure that he makes it outside of being back up.I don’t disagree but who did we miss on?
We have Young Derksen Weitering on our list with HOF & Dean. That is actually normal for one list
I wanted Phillips for the reason we saw today
Really?
1. Weitering accidentally collected high. Takes him out of the game. No free kick. North kick a goal.
2. Lewis Young being held out of the marking contest. No free kick. North kick a goal.
3. Ollie Hollands legged. No free kick. North get a cheap one. North goal.
4. Wade Derksen textbook front on contact. Not paid. Ball goes to North's end to seal the game.
Each and every single one of them is a decision that would get scruitinized at district level. Yet we're to believe that these umpires are several levels better than that?
Feel the same. Supporter base is rightly frustrated but that was a very different game to the previous 3.I don’t have the same feelings as the recent capitulations.
For the most part the boys fought that out strongly. A couple of poor decisions, by players, but the biggest problem were the poor decisions by the maggots.
Not a fan of the shutting up shop mentality coming from the coaches “box”, but we did not have the same mental frailties as recently. Even the potential “brain fade” from Boyd at the death was “understandable” and excusable as he was trying to move the pill when we were trailing.
I am proud of the players today. Yes there were some errors, but they gave 100%.
You know he cant comment on the umpiring and honestly stop expecting anything from those pressers. How do people get mad over that stuff?
He was playing frustrated
Serious question: can anyone remember Hayward playing that way or being allowed to play that way at the Swans?
If not, it may help answer many or ask many questions
He doesnt speak like that to the players, that much is for sure. Im not sure many other coaches speak anything of substance either and tbh , I dont care , those pressers are meaningless.I want him say ANYTHING!
If he speaks like that to you he players, no wonder we’re stuffed.
Own it
Get to work
Humility
wtf even is all that?
No other coaches speak like him.
Watch Bevo, Hardwick, CScott, McCrae etc there is some substance to what they say.
Were Hayward and Florent this bad at Sydney or have we Carltonised them in 4 games?
We weee shit but the umps were worse.
Wright can see it plain as day. There really are no words. North without its most influential player in Xerri and still roll over the top of us. I think it's now untenable with Voss. There's nothing to be gained from keeping him in charge and going to Adelaide and being at the helm of a 10+ goal pounding. It's obvious to everyone that he isn't the man to lead us anymore, so why can't Wright so that?
I don't really like to complain about the umpires but that today was disgusting. Absolutely in North's favour. But ultimately they were hungrier and harder for longer.
Also I'm sorry for whoever disagrees but I've never rated Hayward more than an average footballer. There's 200 Haywards in the AFL and now we're all seeing how 'good' he really is. He's not alone though. All of those recruits have been terrible. They should all be dropped next week. And when He Voss goes, he should take Nick Austin with him.

I really dont know who has been available but it just irks me. Young was originally taken as a back up to weiters and jones, its not his fault he was elevated like that. As far as Derksen, seems like a great guy, not sure that he makes it outside of being back up.
