I refuse to attend games, even free drinks/meals corporate tickets, but half of all you haters continue to attend games filling ADL Oval keeping Nicks in a job. Until you stop attending and ADL Oval is half full at home games, Nicks will be coach forever.

Why would you go to Crows games when you support Port

I hate Port - didn't when I was young though, but when old enough to decide for myself I became a Woodville supporter. Not many wins but loved them, then came M, Blight...yadda yadda. The merger with the Eagles, I'm Crows to the day I die mate.
But corporate dollar is where it is at.
Nick's & Co will keep their job regardless of performance whilst money keeps rolling in.

For me if we are underperfoming, we have a right to be critical.

We are witnessing 2024 all over again, with the coaching group replacing a winning with a losing game plan all over again.

It's frustrating as a Crows fan knowing we cannot be successful under Nicks, who is incompetent as as an AFL match day coach.

As much as I like the positivity some people are taking with the glass-half-full attitude with these close losses, what happens in future can go either way.

We're either going to start winning, or those close losses will start to become floggings.

Last night was on the verge of becoming the latter. When Freo was bordering six goals up early in the third, it should have been closer to ten. From recollection they missed about three easy shots already that quarter, after a handful the first half. Our better accuracy was the only thing barely giving us a pulse for over half a game, until we came out of the coma.

It's great we the played hard and almost pulled off the win (again), but there are worrying signs. Plus that Collingwood win all of a sudden isn't looking as groundbreaking as it did at the time.

I agree, it's not great. I wonder if we had the opportunity to play Essendon, Port, GWS, Richmond etc. to open the season how it would look.

I just hope we have turned a corner in that second half, get rid of Jones (anyone care it was his 100th game? Also 100 games FFS...) forever and get some form/fitness/no homophobic language suspensions at the right part of the season.

Yeah, but no. I can accept losing a game. I was a Woodville supporter, I remember a game at West Lakes when we were getting smashed by South Adelaide and M Blight was going nuts at 3/4 time, I could hear him. Still lost the game because we were shit. But progress was being made. No bitching happened.
No progress being made under the Crows regime.

What do you not get how the corporate world works - AFL is corporate and all about money. Why do you think Port has been gifted shitloads of cash since the tarps at footy park thing.

Adelaide Crows have shown to be weak - to my disappointment cause I thought they were better than that, but why else do you think they are so happy to accept mediocrity? Because the money keeps rolling in, and while it does mediocre people like Matthew Nicks will remain in charge.

ROB didn't have one single hitout to advantage. Curious how you think his ruck work was good.

He has never been a ruckman to do that, more of a "stop the other guy from doing it" ruckman. I thought he competed well (I didn't look at this stats) and I was fine with his game as 2nd ruckman.

35% TOG is better spent on a young player who can kick, turn, handball and run of course.

I’d love to be a fly on the wall at West Lakes and listen to the discussion between Hamish Ogilvie and Matthew Nicks.

If I was the National Recruitment Manager either a pick 4 stuck in the reserves, I’d be in his office asking why we are wasting a high draft pick and still losing.

It's ****ing hard to watch, how can someone kick a football like that at this level? If they had brought in a goalkeeper from the PL, who had never touched an afl ball and planted him in that situation he would have done a better job than rob FFS.

We constantly hear this shit about ROB being one of the most professional at the club. Ok but has he spent literally any time at all working on his ability to kick a football like a normal person? It's not acceptable at any level for a senior player to have skill level that low.. I'm ****ing livid.
