Think we need to chase a good user off of the half back flank. We still have Carmichael in the reserves but other than him we have nothing left and we're badly exposed at the moment with Dale playing like shit and opposition knowing it so they're sitting on Bramble.

Would maybe even look at Fred Valpied as a MSD pick, he could be someone that comes on in a professional system and he's pretty good off half back for Footscray.

There are plenty of half backs in the VFL that I think could step up. The key is finding one that can also defend.
Wouldn't be against trialling Busslinger as a rebound defender, I think it suits him better anyway. Budarick coming back in should free Jaques up more aswell who ideally takes on more responsibility.

Completely devoid of confidence right now but he’s a gem. He’s ****ed right now but I’d put a lot of money on him being a gun in 3 years

I wouldnt say huge bust, although he certainly wasn't one I was excited about at the time. I do think he becomes serviceable but that's purely a projection and he still has time to go either way.

I can't see him ever being a gun but hope you're right. I think he plays 150 decent games but dont ever see him being the game winner Reid is already.

Power would have been better off showing he won't be walked over and let Smith go to the PSD tbh. Kennedy has been alright but the return we got for that trade isn't looking great

We’ll see. It’s been a common theme for a long, long time and we never address it

People will go on about how we had a crack at Wilkie and Keane last year and pretend that that’s enough. Good on them for trying for those two but they were both a less than 1% chance to get done. Both contracted, Wilkie about to be captain, Keane coming off an AA squad season for the minor premiership. Even if they wanted to come here I’m positive their clubs would block any attempt at a trade

Just needed to get someone across. Didn’t need to be a sexy name but our stocks last year were unbelievably dire and came into the next season with less on the list
