Get rid of the CEO and put in someone who’s actually qualified for the job and you will start to see the changes for the better. This guy is clueless.

Rookie list? Maybe if it comes to that.Next year to be his last.
Can’t go ahead and start giving blokes a 3 year extension like the gibcus situation. We aren’t a charity
We’ve recruited about 3 x freeman’s over the past few years. Why did we recruit the next Nathan Freeman?

There's been a significant arrogance to our 'injury history but potential' over exposed form approach to drafting that smacks of the complacency of multiple first round picks. Swinging for the fences. We’ve recruited about 3 x freeman’s over the past few years.
Our drafting period relative to the mean is abysmal to think that we’ve pissed so many pics up against the wall makes me sick this ll cost us years and yearsThere's been a significant arrogance to our 'injury history but potential' over exposed form approach to drafting that smacks of the complacency of multiple first round picks. In any industry where your performance deviates so significantly from the mean, and in this case we're talking injuries versus every other side, it demands a review and significant attention from the executive to identify why it's happening and take steps to correct it. It isn't good enough to wait until the end of the year in what is already a lost season.
This is symptomatic of weak leadership, a culture of a lack of accountability and mark my words it will cost us players as blokes will hold a grudge about their management and it hurting their earning potential. If I'm Smillie agent I'd already be having conversations with teams like Brisbane that have a track record of getting blokes back to fitness and playing good footy.

They need to move to Waverley asap then and rip it up properly.Agreed.
Caroline Wilson reported early April there were growing concerns among the Richmond players about the Punt Road Oval surface. The club denied there’s an issue, but Caroline said the concerns are coming from the players.
Like her or not, she’s pretty well connected in the industry. When she says she’s hearing something, there’s usually some level of truth to it.
I really don’t want us to lose our younger players because of this injury fiasco, so we need to take action.

Yeah they put their hand up for Waverley late. Would have got it, but now the Dees are front runners after they expressed interest first. They need to move to Waverley asap then and rip it up properly.
Want to buy a gym membershipYeah they put their hand up for Waverley late. Would have got it, but now the Dees are front runners after they expressed interest first.
Too busy sitting on our hands in many areas of the club at the moment.
Too busy selling digital bricks and reinforcing our stance on no songs after our players kick a goal (which doesn’t happen too often these days).Want to buy a gym membership
All the important stuff for a footy clubToo busy selling digital bricks and reinforcing our stance on no songs after our players kick a goal (which doesn’t happen too often these days).
It’s post 1982 grand final all over again, just taking a different path. Same result sadly. And the same cause.how it happened & how this club has a habit of "getting ahead of itself". And see the signs when we are doing the same shit just under different circumstances.

Hubris.

I tend to agree. Finding a version somewhere in the middle of those two extremes (well, maybe leaning towards the assholes version) might be a worthwhile exercise. To be honest, I think I preferred the ciggy smoking, ruthless impatient, assholes version than this very meek, clumsy PR pseudo Support Officers version we have going atm.
