Zach, Cam and Kai had better second halves today so it was good to watch the goals from my spot up on level 3 behind the goals and watching them work together. Backline still needs work - saw Lester go absolutely nuts at Kiddy at one stage - he was furious with him for not manning up his player.

Glad for the win and seeing us play in Melbourne - will be a while for our next game down here. Amazing to see the increase in Lions supporters. Didn’t see what happened to Gallop but concussion is not good - fingers crossed he’s ok.

Bit annoying that every week we seem to have a minimum of two out with injury and can’t get any momentum with the injury list actually decreasing; instead it seems we constantly have 8 potential first 23 out.
As you say, couple back a couple out

He looked like he took a head knock last week as well. Was surprised when they didn't test him then.
Hope he is okay , he is a beauty 👌

Sheedy used to rate the opposition players from 1-20 and they'd get a rundown on their strengths and weaknesses 40 years ago.

I'd be very surprised if all clubs weren't doing something similar.

I actually do a similar thing for the posters on this board. I have a comprehensive spreadsheet on each poster.

Confirmed- Josh Barnes is another simpleton to add to the list of footy pundit simpletons.
Yeah, he put a poll up on the Herald Sun website, so far only 10% agree it is insulting and 72% no issue play on, from around 1,990 votes.

Between night grand finals, extra time, this stuff the collective AFL media is just completely clueless

I'm a bit bemused at how we left that sort of stuff up where the public is wandering in and out and then act a bit outraged that someone has taken a snap and circulated it.

What was Fages going on about private information ?? It's not private if you allow people you don't know access to it. Then he bangs on about it for 4 minutes in his presser.

It obviously set him off but looking at the whole thing impartially it's our own doing and the issue is now overblown , people are taking any little nitbit in there seriously and the media are loving it.

But at least we'll get some press on the footy shows over the weekend otherwise most of them wouldn't have known the game was on. It's just a shame Essendon aren't a top of the ladder team and it would've created an awesome rivalry.

From the coverage I have seen and with a bit of reading between the lines I think the supporter "found his way into the club rooms" maybe he was looking for something to use on social media and shouldn't have even been in the area.

Fages was certainly fuming about his actions, I'd definitely trust Fages version/perception of events than the footy media or the social media nuffie who leaked it.

Can someone who’s been down in Elixuh ’s basement please upload the spreadsheet in question? Chief could use a bit of click‑bait controversy to pump up BF traffic.

Wait until the media see nexts weeks board with Harry McKay

We were very good in the first and third quarters. Cruised for the other two. Good win from close up. Essendon are miles off it.

Well that puts a different light on it and if that's the case he should've said so. If they've somehow entered a room that's not open to them then deliberately accessed private information and circulated it then he should be hunted down and the most appropriate action taken.

And maybe we should close off the war room.

Fwir it was just a whiteboard that was visible through a window. The remedy is realistically to be a bit more diligent about wiping stuff off the whiteboard when you're done with it.

Easier to erase if you don't let it sit overnight anyway.

Just about to post the same, she was trying her best to get Harris and/or Josh to apologise to the Bombers players, so bloody glad that they didn't fall for that horseshit and said every club does the same thing.

Sarah Jones footy pundit ability >🤮
I will try and word this the right way. Mental health is a huge issue everywhere now. It was interesting being at the game today that when McKay took a mark he copped the biggest bronx cheer i have heard for along time. I know Mckay is really struggling with his footy but depending how mentally strong Mckay is do we think this sort of stuff can get to players mentally? My main point is i wonder if Sarah Jones should be asking the bombers supporters to apologize to Mckay rather than rubbish on a whiteboard. Only an opinion.

And don't leave the whiteboard anywhere where the public has access. Just wipe it.
Surely there have been learnings arising out of the matter and you have identified the biggest two, martinson
