No sorry I wont apologise as we have different views on what you wrote and what we think our the actions throughout the game. I know you probably have to be careful of what you write and I totally understand it.

There was another incident in the same quarter where the same player gets kneed in the head whilst on the ground eyes on ball and somehow the free kick when to the Wallan player. I’m not saying there was any malice in it or deliberate but that’s a free kick. The ball player must be protected.
Wasn’t the bald umpire officiating that call.

My last word on this is the AFL is clearly eliminating the bump and you must tackle or I hate to say it, but you pull out. It’s just the way the game is going these days. But that didn’t bother me as I know Vianni is a very fair player. But why the other guy carries on and the constant niggle and stuff is clearly poor.
Love to see them do that against say Govan from Macedon or when Tarzcon was playing at Riddle or even when Pickett was playing. Guarantee they wouldn’t..

Riddell league want to stamp out stuff as the league was seen by the outside as improving and inviting but so far some incidents this season are getting publicly they don’t want.

Anyway I’m having a break for a week or so as my views on the game differ from a few!!
Cheers.
Turbo.
That’s right Turbo… when the going gets tough you walk away…. Pathetic!!

Any thoughts on this weekends games.
Woodend to beat romsey
Riddell should beat Lancefield easy
Wallan to beat Kyneton
Gisborne to beat Centrals
Diggers to beat Macedon

how are you still going on about this, its like a bunch of drunk guys trying to assemble IKEA furniture, lets look forward to some cracking games this weekend!

Agree.

Lets stop with the childish back and forth and actually focus on the game folks. The back and forth and direct targeting of posters and back and forth on "he said, she said" is getting tiresome and there will be no more warnings.

How's our old mate and assistant coach(main coach in waiting) Bashen going at Wallan?

Unbeaten over 3 grades of footy, and the netballers are flying. Might just have to wait another weekend to troll.

As I mentioned in the tipping thread, Kyneton will be absolutely kicking themselves after yesterday's game—far too many easy misses with one player in particular having an off day, which I'm sure he'll be disappointed in as he did play very well.

Pretty windy, though, which certainly played a part. Credit to Wallan, though, as they hung in and grafted out a tough win.

Thought Smith was excellent in the ruck for Kyneton and ensured they got a heap of ball, which they moved really well. They certainly do look like finals contenders.

Shout out to the Wallan backline and especially Dion Hill. What a signing he's turning out to be.

Windy everywhere, caught half of Diggers v Macedon then second half of Giants/Centrals.

Diggers first qtr was sublime, hard at the contest, and were exceptional at closing down any space that Macedon looked to find.
Markov was not only good with ball in hand, pace and shifting the ball and ground positioning quickly, but also instrucionally behind the ball his voice and experience was noticeable.

Actually enjoyed the back end of the afternoon, both teams had more than ample opportunity to own chunks of the game but composure, decison making/execution and hitting the scoreboard went the Centrals way when it mattered.

Everything Brancatisano touched seemed to have a positive impact, Schnoor tried and tried but a few key contested moments in the final 10mins went the way of the visitors.

I was at Giants/Centrals as well, Centrals third quarter was they key, going into the final term a point ahead after kicking against the breeze was the difference. Giants looked gassed after copping 3 injuries, the ankle injury midway through the 3rd (couldn’t quite see his number) looked horrific, genuinely thought his ankle was sideways for a minute or two. Was a competitive game overall against 2 even sides. Dylan Jobson looked like he’s getting back into the swing of things, dominated the ruck duel.

Agree re:Q3 there seemed a genuine plan to what Centrals were trying to do. Some slow, find a mark, progress the ball with care against a pick it up, run 'n gun opposition.

Great and exciting when it comes off, but unless it's a genuine trained method the disconnect ahead of the ball as play unfolds (hit up or lenghten) can looks as unorganised as it did at times when Giants looked genuinely out.

Jobson did compete extremely well, just wish he'd totally can the talking to umpires part of his game, because when he did focus and play footy very (very) important to how that played out.

Giants have some massive culture issues

Hearing there was a headbutt in the reserves and another punch thrown in the seniors

Not ideal - What qtr?

Ironically I did have to ask my daughter what was the yellow arm bands for as I noticed them at both Diggers/Macedon and upon arrival at the land of the Giants.

Definitely early looks suggest it's under $3 for a Diggers/Wallan double in both open age comps come GF day, whilst I still feel the 19s will only be a 2-3 horse race in no time.
Diggers certainly look like the team to beat in the seniors.

Wallan been good in there 2 games at home but anything but convincing in there 2 games away but still managed to get the 4 points in both games.

I think Kyneton & Macedon can still challenge Wallan for the 2nd spot in the GF.

Ressies won’t be anything but a Wallan & Diggers GF.

19s I think Giants & Macedon are the teams to beat with a little gap to Kyneton & Wallan.

Jake Carlisle back at Wallan, named in their best

Didn’t he leave and go bush to coach

News must travel slowly out your neck of the woods.

Just finished reading about Trent Anguin. All the best for the future, mate.

He had 13 turnovers and went at 60%?
Would most have that been in the first half?
Geez I woulda thought so, or perhaps I’m out of things now for a reason 🥶🤷🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️

He appeared (for me) to be quite impactful in 2nd half compared to some out there who seem quite happy to simply accumulate touches

Saying that, over the past 3 years there were weekly discrepancies in the numbers I would view so could easily get players mixed up as it does happen frequently on certain platforms
