Know it's been a bad year for injuries but I'm pretty bullish when we get the boys back and we get the no 1 pick next year on a ruck. Nank can then play around the ground. Been a hard year but ratschenko being the first winger in a while at the club and getting some time to develop the kids will be good long term. I just don't care about the doom and gloom

Reckon we will need to make 6 list changes. My changes in red below.
The first 5 changes look straight forward - delist/retire Prestia, Broad, Sonsie, Hugo, Smith
The last one was more difficult
(a) Delist LeFau instead of elevating him
(b) Delist one of Steely or MJ
(c) Delist Juddy

I would like to see Juddy get given another crack at AFL and keep LeFau so therefore would delist one of MJ or Steely.

Delisting Trezise will free up a rookie spot for whoever we draft in the MSD.

Hinkley would be a really valuable addition to our footy department regardless, perhaps in a coaching director role like we were going to with Rutten.

Would do Fawcett for Madden, Giants wouldn’t.

40s for Fawcett maybe if he has a club that’s really keen on him and there’s multiple suitors, otherwise clubs would just wait to see if he gets delisted.

Fawcett could be on the radar of Adelaide clubs with Tex likely retiring, Georgiadis potentially in move ? Not sure letting him go is a great idea, shows above average ability on his day

I reckon Hopper will be traded if we manage to recruit Bailey or Butters, or may just be traded. This frees up a list spot but I’m probably delisting MRJ long before Sonsie and HRS.

Also, OHB has to be upgraded from the rookie list as I’m pretty sure we won’t get an exemption to keep him on Cat B. We will have to consider whether to get rid of him, delist/trade Ryan, or both. I’m possibly thinking both.

Didn't he try too get too norf?

I know his Dad & he told me last year that he was pissed at R Lyon. Richmond is his preferred. Not sure if that’s changed.

now we've seen what labor can do, on ball and forward
even in just 2 weeks cumming looks a player
grjl with his speed and lateral movement
last 2 weeks seen what ross and kmac2 can do with opportunity
still have hotton to come back after glimpses last year
and smilie when they get his body right, giving another option
then get butters/Bailey as a free agent. with Bailey offer him more than Brisbane can match with a massive 1st year payment which will lower the cost over the following years
then get another potential star with an early pick this year TMH or another


and our midfield will look imposing in years to come

I'm getting on the Bailey train as well. Very smart player.

He is 27 this year but we have to pay someone and those small forward types can go into their 30's easily enough. Think he would help us when hopefully pushing back for finals in 2-3 years and deep into September in 4-5.
