Time and time again this year we go forward and just don't know what to do, I think our days of finals contention are over. Just look worse and worse with each passing week

Only a two goal game atm but I've seen nothing this year to suggest we can take this game by the arm and control it. Too many key departures and the ship is sinking...

Briggs played 12 and half minutes out of 30. Very out of favour.
But with Madden injured what other options do we have. Doesn’t help for this game that Riccardi isn’t playing, and Aleer is back strapped on. Briggs will have to play a blinder tonight

I thought he would of done around the ground ruck with Leek doing the centre but Leek seems to be the clear number 1 ruck.

We are in front? How?!?
Because even our (almost) worst is sometimes better than our opponents (almost) best? Imagine if we could play to our best - the premiership would be ours, but alas we never play our best for the whole game.

Presume players know that 1 goal = 6 behind? The kicking has been atrocious by both sides (thankfully for us)

He hasn’t been great but those other two you mentioned haven’t been good enough to earn a regular spot.
I’d strongly argue they haven’t ever got a consistent run. And yes Cogs has miles on the board, but I can’t believe either wouldn’t offer a lot more than he does now. He’s too fumbly, not damaging enough, to me there’s no upside.
