Agreed...And I'd definitely be sticking with Fawcett too...

I liked what he offered when he played this year. This is purely on the basis that if he's not playing now when there's only 3 fit players outside of the selected 23, then he's likely gone given contract status.

I’d delist Trezise (rookie) HRS, Smith, Prestia, Broad, Sonsie, Samson (payout), Clarke, Fawcett and trade Hopper for a third (we can afford to pay some salary).

That’s 9 senior players and one rookie.
Upgrade Lefau to the senior list, meaning we have 8 senior players and two rookies (but potentially none if we take two MSDs in May).

1, 21, 22, 43, 50 (Hopper pick), 60 available.

43 to GWS for their ruckman Maddern. 21 and our F2 for Wilson (I don’t think the saints will take this).

Draft HVH, 21, 50, 60, Leys, Daffy.

Then just get them fit and keep them on the park.

I am yet to see us be ruthless enough to make moves on Samson and Hopper.. just don't think they'll do it.

Leys, Daffy.. how are they tracking? Are they proper picks in the draft or are they more likely rookie/louis kellaway/lockwood areas

Looks a pretty solid wing, won't break the bank or cost much in trade capital but would be an upgrade on our wings?

They have Clayton Oliver and Tom Green. If any team wants Hopper it certainly isn't GWS - hell their probably the team that wants him the least in the entire competition.

Only way Hopper goes anywhere is to Tassy and where we would have to offer a draft pick as well, salary dump style

Firsts aside, Adelaide have 26, 38 and 44. Port have 21, 24, 42, 50 and 60.

Ideally would want both 38 and 44.

His running numbers are good but nothing we don't already have,
Sharp contracted.

At least the Eagles were up the top when they did that. It was just they were on the way down. The picks were crappy.
