There are some sides I just can't bring myself to cheer - Carlton is one of them. However I fought against my inner hatred and was glad they won. But it still wouldn't have stopped me laughing my arse off at their sheer incompetence if they had lost (credit to Fraser... they most definitely would have if Voss still had their head job hehe). I would have been ****ing annoyed at them, but it still would have been funny.I was actively cheering for Carlton.
I feel dirty
Carlton obviously. They have 4 wins now and are on the march. An unstoppable force.Footy pundits scrambling to find another team not called Fremantle to proclaim as flag favourites after this weekend
$101 to go all the way, get on early.Carlton obviously. They have 4 wins now and are on the march. An unstoppable force.

Carlton's track record in last round games having to win to make the 8 is atroicousThat round 24 Freo v Carlton game looks more challenging now Carlton could be pushing for Finals or Wildcard spot.
We'll have to lock away a top 2 spot before that.
Carlton are coming!Carlton obviously. They have 4 wins now and are on the march. An unstoppable force.
So is your spellingCarlton's track record in last round games having to win to make the 8 is atroicous
just jokingThat didn't age well.Geelong were always gonna win this

Essendon next. Then West Coast, Richmond, GWS. Will be up and aboutCarlton obviously. They have 4 wins now and are on the march. An unstoppable force.
Jeez looking at that I almost need to ask when the last time and interim coach led their team to finals.Essendon next. Then West Coast, Richmond, GWS. Will be up and about
They may never lose againCarlton are coming!
He only responded to journos questions.Anyone told Scott to maybe respect the opposition? Geelong thought they’d just rock up and win 30+.
Instead he’s going after the ARC.. when the decision was in the opening minutes of the match.
Horrendous look.
Nah,Some of you peoples eagle hating is genuinely short-sighted and lacking. Think bigger and more petty people!
I want them to go on an end of season surge and sneak into 10th. They finish the 3qtr time wild-card final 4 goals up. But end up losing by 10 points due to getting smashed in the middle. The media starts parroting how close they are and what they really need is good midfield depth. The off-season is full of hope and unwarranted optimism.
Eventually, they pressure the misplaced confidence into spending their 2026&2027 first round picks for Cripps and Neale. They also give Richmond their current and future second rounder for Broad.
2027 roles around and they win 7 out of their first 8 (only losing to us by 65 points after kicking the first 6 goals of the game being 40 up at half time). Everyone sees they're close. They win 4 more games for the season and limp into 10th. They win this final. They then get smashed the following week. They again trade their future first rounder for some hack. Cripps and Neale's cliffs (Yeo and Kelly's too) come startling quick. 2028 they finish 11th.
They now have enough young talent to compete for midtable mediocrity. They finish between 11th and 7th for the following 9 years, winning one final and 0 derbies.
Think big picture. I'll always cheer for Eagles slither of success if it brings long-term brutal failure.
I love this, truly a beautiful scenario. Mind you they already traded this years second rounder to Hawthorn in a failed attempt to get Beau Adinsall. Seriously they miscalculated that if they traded up and bid on Jai Murray then GC would not have enough points to match a bid on Adinsall. It was one of the all time List Manager screw ups. They are truly an inspiration. Some of you peoples eagle hating is genuinely short-sighted and lacking. Think bigger and more petty people!

I mean he's absolutely right.Anyone told Scott to maybe respect the opposition? Geelong thought they’d just rock up and win 30+.

Technically it’s a goal but I still find it strange considering the ball brushed his shin rather than his foot.I mean he's absolutely right.
And this was incredibly predictable after the Marshall debacle.
I'd be filthy if that happened to us.
Been in the rule/ laws of the game ever since I can remember.Technically it’s a goal but I still find it strange considering the ball brushed his shin rather than his foot.
How did they allow shinning a ball to be called a kick, especially now with slow-mo cameras?
Exactly the right amount I’d saygrudging respect
unconditional hate
how feral are we?
If we can beat them in our game they'll earn a well deserved rep as one of the biggest frauds everFlat track Curnow has a bag already, Sydney must be playing a bottom team.
