Got a puppy a couple of months ago and I take it all back. He's the best guy ever and he sleeps cuddled next to me in bed.
Won't make him an instagram account though. Maybe a BF account.
I wonder if the decline in smoking has lead to a rise in people caring more about how their coffee tastes. You probably aren’t too fussed if your morning brew is overpowered by the taste of marlboro reds.
I probably didn’t start going into cafe’s regularly until maybe 2013 or 14.
I am interested in how/if the cafe experience has changed since the 90s/00s? How was the average cafe different to the average cafe today?
Raymond was a pretty funny show, except for the parts where it leaned to heavily into the cliches of 'my wife won't sleep with me/dad is an idiot' type humour. Some genuinely great episodes. I love the one where Robert dates the frog lady who eats a fly at dinner.
I watched Seinfeld once...
I grew up a fan of gangster rap, but it's really hard to argue that rap isn't a toxic and hateful genre of music. It's part of what makes it so great tbh
Can’t understand people who start drinking while hungover. The thought of alcohol when I’m in that state makes me want to chew my own head off.
And I agree with craigos re:fatties. In many cultures around the world it is perfectly acceptable to be publicly shamed for gaining excess weight. This...
Recently been gearing towards watching quality Australian movies, interested to know what BF thinks is the top of the tops. I’ve included the most popular ones but am happy and eager to see if there’s any gems that I don’t know abour.
I think both women and men are both shitful but women sit on the extremes at both ends. The best people Ive worked with have been women, likewise the worst most spiteful have been women too.
The problem is that you and Chief take this as the rule, rather than the exception, and use this to justify kids being disrespectful and misbehaving.
I don’t think you’re doing your kids any favours by telling them to challenge authority when they’re too young to understand what that fully...
Reading these posts, no wonder so many kids come to school with an inflated sense of entitlement
"Some teachers were mean to me 30 years ago, and now I'm a 45 year old who teaches my kids they don't have to behave in school if they judge their teacher to not be worthy of it -- what do you mean...
Not sure how you read that when I specifically said I wasn't talking about anyone hitting the kids.
I'm not sure there's anything schools can't do now that they couldn't do before.
What I'd like to see is some sort of specific classroom or facility made for those students who are not cut out...
Smacking/hitting is not what I'm talking about when I say discipline/consequences
For what it's worth, I don't think anyone should be allowed to smack a child besides their parent.
