I was shocked at the tribunal verdict on Chad Cornes. The whole incident looked like a complete accident. He seemed to trip or slip. There didn't appear anything aggressive in it. I'd be interested to know what you think. I'm not a Power supporter but believe in a fair go for all clubs.

On the news it was reported that James Gallagher had been flown over to Melbourne to replace an "unknown player" who had pulled up sore after training. Any ideas who it might be ?

Collingwood has nothing to regret about today - apart from the obvious disappointment of not winning. The Pies were committed, brave and skilfull and didn't deserve to lose - neither did The Lions. It was one of those games where you don't want there to be a winner.
Commiserations and...
Pictures on the news showing Roo prodding his gluteous maximus don't look good. He was obviously feeling some pain from his hamstring. It would be a great pity if he missed the game against Collingwood. On the other hand we can't afford to take someone who's less than 100% into the game. I hope...
In tonight's sport's news it was stated that Goodwin's tackle had been cleared as not being reportable. That's great news !
Have a great week on the track, guys, and demolish Collingwood on Saturday.
Poor old Welshy has the dread OP and that means his effectiveness will be very poor/absent maybe for the rest of the season. He might even have to go under the knife.
To add to our woes, Sugar left the training track in some pain tonight and must be seriously in doubt for the match against...
The latest gem from channel 10- Carey is in training again and Adelaide is the most likely club to get him next season. Why, heaven knows. Do we want him anyway? Will all the players' wives be reduced to wearing chastity belts :>))
Will his undoubted skills really be in that high demand after...
It was annouced on channel 7 that Kane Johnson has had his appendix removed and may not play against Melbourne - more likely the week after.
All the best, Kane for a speedy recovery. We will certainly miss your super skills and enthusiasm.
Steven Trigg has come out and annouced that the AFC will not be reviewing Gary's contract until the season is over, along with the relevant players who are out of contract. If I remember correctly Blight's contract was extended mid season so why - if the club is happy with the coach - won't they...

A great win for the Crows !. It was difficult to leave out several players in the...
An interesting inference came out on channel 7 or 10 last night when discussing Bunji's suspension. It was pointed out that Mackenzie was the same umpire who gave him zero votes last year in one of the last games where he was adjudged best-a-field by not only the media but opposition coaches...
Well, we'll have to see how we can play sans Bunji against the Power this weekend. Haven't heard about Biglands yet. However, if he gets rubbed out too I can't see how we can counter the Power, although losing Primus would even up things a bit. I'm wondering if the AFC will appeal the decision...
It happens every year. I confidently tip the certainties in round one and this always comes back to bite me. Just about every "expert" tipped Carlton and Port Power and I thought that was fair enough. So far St Kilda and the 'Roos have proved there is no such thing as a certainty. Last night the...
Having watched last night - and several matches before - I've come to the conclusion that the game is, basically, Gaelic football with little concession made to Aussie Rules. As a result, the Irish always have a big advantage no matter which country it's played in. The fact that they lost last...
Have you had any inkling on who might be your new coach. In SA we keep hearing that Neil Craig has impressed the panel but that is probably biased. Personally, I'd rather he stayed with the Crows. If you do get him your team's fitness levels will increase dramatically. He's very experienced in...
We are a bit stunned at the news that Holland has changed his mind and re-signed with The Tiges. What did the club do to him - put on the thumb screws???
Seriously, does anyone know what changed his mind?
How does the postee feel who told the Crows fans how poorly Holland performed for your...
Congratulations Brisbane Lions on a wonderful game. You never gave in and your second half was perfection. Your determination reminded me of the Crows wins in '97 and '98. They were against the odds just like Brisbane.
Welcome to the premierships family of clubs
So that I have something to look forward to next season would someone tell me who has been signed up for the commentary teams for channels 9,10 and Foxsports? I know Denis Cometti's got a guernsey but am hoping that a few others haven't. Can't stand Hudson, Roberts and Dunstall. Would love to...
I posted my two pennithworth about who I thought would win the grand final and the post was accepted. However, the post is missing. Have I been censored? I wasn't really all that controversial - unless tipping Brisbane is a no-no.
That was about the most disgraceful exhibition of umpiring I've seen for a long time. Hawthorn supporters should be very angry at the blatantly biased umpiring in the 1st quarter and for most of the rest of the match.
I would like to offer my commiserations and say that I believe you should...
The Crows could do a lot worse than to look at the video of yesterday's Essendon V Kangaroos match and see what a really committed team looks like. Despite being 69 points down they didn't give in for a minute and played some wonderfully inspired football.
Until the Crows approach every match...
I have written to the AFC board urging them to honour Tony Modra with life membership because I reckon he earned it. If Malcolm Blight hadn't ensured that he HAD to go, Tony would have fulfilled the club requirements for the honour.
If you think Mods deserves life membership please write to...
He's at it again ! He's failed to get St. Kilda going all season so it's time to tell the club how useless it is and threaten all the players with sacking. How typical ! Pitman copped the brunt very early in the 1997 season and Connell got both barrels in 1999. Doesn't this man know any other...
I cannot understand why the AFC still persists with David Gallagher. Last week he made so many basic skill errors it was pathetic. The club have given him many chances and he just can't cut it. I believe he should be traded at the end of the season.
