There's something in the air today.... blues by 17 and Cerra BOG. Charlie 4 snags with plenty of contests halved to create ground ball opportunities for motts, fog, owies etc.
We'll be 5th (temporarily) with a win o_O
rubbish thread. So what if our average age was like half a year? no point playing a team full of 20 year olds and get flogged. Need the experienced big bodies in there. Just because the average age may of been higher, it does not mean guys like rowe are any good... plus a good handful have never...
it was great, been behind the goals it created much more excited and got the cheersquad and supporters around the area chanting, would love it more often
i still remember been at simmos debut game at etihad against geelong on queens bierthday i think? been a young kid, i rmeember him running on for the first time. Don't think he got near it but boy he has come so far. Well done mate :) Lets get him a win and book ourselves a trip to perth for a...
agreed,
most of those guys were before my time but we have not had a mark like that, in that situation, in a very long time. Best Carlton win i have been a part of and i am 21 now... Bring on the swannies, we are a massive chance to be playing a prelim!
I don't think there has been many seasons where the same top 8 has backed it up the following year. But you have a point, the top 8 this year all deserve to be there so it is hard to see. Guess injuries will have their say
dont drop bell, at least he tried and got some hard balls last night. Yes he turned it over but how many times has Curnow done that? he has not impressed at all this year. Bell has more upside.
Other than that, what a useless game next week a crowd of about 2000 to show up assuming freo beat...
goddard every day of the week. Frees up gibbs and can go forward if one of our forwards are out or struggling. Cloke = 1 dimensional and we all know how good his best is but also how bad his worst is
danger game this week yes, but its on the road, it means a almost guaranteed win for us. Aside from the final last year where we were robbed, we have not lost on the road since 2009? or 2010, feeling confident :)
We just seem to come together on the road and bond as a group. Go Blues!!
Re: Rd 8 Carlton v Adelaide Sunday 20th May @ Etihad @ 3.15pm
thank you very much, do you, or anyone else know, how they allocate tickets? been on today and ive gotten aisle like 42 43 and 4, all at the adelaide end. Would our end be sold out? (level 1)
Yep title says it all. the two most successful teams in the history of the game are once again the two superpowers of the AFL.
What? West Coast and Sydney? **** THAT!! Ducks can't possibly win the grand final could they? And the Swans? they can't get past the Kamry Krows so they are no hope...
Our defence is not the best in the league, but it is nice to have the 'official' best defene after all those years waking up on a monday morning, hoping we would be 15th instead of 16th in points against :thumbsu:
