    Expert warns of AFL demise

Of course you would, you're a very bitter person. Just out of curiosity, what do you even think running a smear campaign would even achieve? It's not like we're voting for a government. Do you honestly think many people would even care? More likely it'll just turn people off soccer and make the...

    It's 2010 - FFA where are the details ????

Who cares? For the record though I very highly doubt that the FFA would discontinue using the largest ground in Australia

    It's 2010 - FFA where are the details ????

If that's the case, why don't we wait until after elections for the winning political party to reveal their policies? After all, it's completely irrelevant unless they actually win the election :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    Why?????????????????

You're a ****ing idiot, did you even read what he wrote?

    Why?????????????????

I'm sure that noone on this forum would have a problem if the FFA were actually able to provide their own stadiums for the bid. It then wouldn't be an issue in the first place. Wasn't Docklands designed to be AFL specific with the view of the AFL owning it sometime in the next 15-20 years?

How can it be media bias? Surely if there was enough demand for soccer news then the media would supply it? People in Aus don't particularly care about Soccer unless the WC is on, then we'll watch it for the few weeks Australia plays and forget about it for the next 4 years.

AFL v FIFA ..great publicity for footy whatever happens..

Probably because the rest of the world doesn't care whether we get the cup or not.

Confirtmed Soccer does want to kill off Australian football!

You seem awfully proud of foreign nations and not your own :o

Confirtmed Soccer does want to kill off Australian football!

So what? There's examples of the same thing occurring in NSW and NZ when Australian Football was establishing itself. The union types banded together to ban Aussie Rules being played in schools, thus stifling it's growth because they were afraid of it becoming more popular and was seen as a...

Got any proof to back that one up mate? Or just the fact that you and your mates prefer soccer and playing FIFA '10 to watching Australian Football?

If she was underage then she probably looked pretty young to begin with. How do you know it was her going after him? Either way, she's not classed as an adult so unfortunately, that's too bad for the player in question.

So? If a guy can't look at a girl without thinking 'I wonder if she's of age?' then he probably shouldn't be going there in the first place.

    Expert warns of AFL demise

Wow, completely missed the point yet again. If the only bad thing you can say about Australian Football is to bring up someone who has a list of off-field incidents then you're clutching at straws.

    Expert warns of AFL demise

Wow, way to go off-topic and completely discredit your argument. Go the man, not the ball, eh? I'm sure I could google any number of soccer players getting caught for off-field indiscretions. What about the fans? They seem more interested in fighting in the stands than watching the game half...

    Expert warns of AFL demise

Never heard of him and I'd suggest many Australians never have either. Why are you so concerned that Australia needs to 'prove' itself by hosting the world cup, or being a powerhouse at soccer? It seems as though you're desperate for approval, not because soccer's a great spectacle, but because...

Other codes need to get real

Unlike soccer, Australian Rules was created entirely within Australia. Please explain to me why it isn't our national game because this seems very confusing to me
